They are finishing up the cage for me this week and then I should have it back next week. I still have to finish putting the interior back together and the sound deadening.... ( like that is really gonna help...) I will be taking it to an interior guy who I have used in the past on other cars to finish out the rear deck area, trans tunnel and rear shock mount/wheel tub area. I have designed a cover to help conceal the rear hatch area that has the battery, fuel cell and help with keeping the fuel pump noise to a min. Then there is the exterior...... I am doing a full LED conversion on all lighting. I just have to save up the rest of the money to complete it. I am also going to have the car dipped in a Halo product, just testing the hood for what color to use. The rear bumpers and rear light panel will be powdercoated to match the wheels. Now it is a waiting game for me to earn the cash needed to complete her out the way it needs to be done. There will be another round of exterior mods done ( rear tail, reworking the front air damn and flares to be the way I want them to be. ) I will beat on her when I can.

I hate to say it i will most likely change out to dual 3.5 oval, to 3" hand made mufflers and heimholtz resonators. A similar set up to what i have on my dd. No rasp No drone

When planning my cage out i am keeping the rear crush zone for safety, but in the same token o have my fuel cell in that zone. My concern is well a ticking bomb.....

My dad was the VP of the Z club of Houston back in 77 78 79. My car is from 1 of the founding members. I still know a few old school guys1 of which i am poised to get a few cars from in the future. I am not really into the scene as i have not had a functional car. But that will change ince i am on the road. I have 93 turbo Supra as well. So I might hit that crowd up as well.

Can we get a location where we can all post up pictures of our cages? I am currently attempting to build one and am having issues with the design I want. This would be a good place to keep all variations of the cages that we have in our cars. Please state wither it is welded, or bolt in. Street or Track Track Certified? I will start by adding what photos I have saved.

Well here it is. Not pretty but a start.

Was there any confusion with the fact that these mounts would need to be used with the headers? You say expensive headers, but it is all relative. They are long tube 304 Stainless Steel headers..... try go shopping for the equivalent for another car and you will pay more than what Bruce is asking for. ( I have no affiliation with Hawks 3rd Gen, but I have their products in my car so I am a believer. I did my due diligence in searching for parts for my car and knew full well before purchasing parts that these needed to be used together......)
