hey bob im looking at that stuff right now and it looks pretty good. im the type that will sit back and let others give it a whirl. looks like good stuff though and they claim to have done some top of the line cars.
alright guys i have some questions that i need assistance in answering. I have a set of 205-50-15 tires. They are brand new in the garage. I wasnt to run them on my 15" snowflakes. My 79 has the 130mph speedo. Original wheel/tire combo was 14".
To my understanding, if i use 15" wheels/tires, my speedo will be off by some. Does anyone know by chance how much that "some" will be?
I also know there are different colored cogs for the transmission side of the speedo cable. I have blue.
So all this being said, how off will my speedo be and can i correct this with a different cog? what color?
man sometimes that happens to me on other sites. i spend an hour typing a reply and then i click submit and it goes to a cannot be found type page. i click back to try again, but my post is gone. makes me want to hit my monitor with my forehead and keep banging.
yeah its 3 jet engines. the guys name is Ken Shockley. His truck was awesome. He went almost 400mph from a dead standstill in a 1/4 mile type stretch. hows that hybrid for ya lol
id have to disagree Lone. it may be smaller, and less powerful, n/a wise. If you took the smaller v8, since it is smaller in size, you do have signifigant room in the engine bay to twin turbo that puppy with ease.
im a running these tires on my 79 280zx. i originally had 14" wheels. I recently added the 15" snowflakes. I plan to put the new tires on the snowflakes if you guys say they are an ok size.
alright,
are you saying yay or ney? they have a NICE sidewall, stiff. they have nice grooves that say they channel water good.
1) will i have to change my suspension and set it lower?
2) wil i have to mess with the speedo stuff to get it to read the correct speed?
i went to a friends house today. We weighed his sr20det engine and tranny as one peice. It weighed in around 450 pounds! Now this is NICE!!!! the L28 long block weighs about that much. what an advantage!
Hey i know there was talk on an interior forum a while back. I really say we need one. I know its not hard to add a forum, so why not throw one up?
I just bought all kinds of equipment so i can rebuild my interior. I used some of it already and i would like to tell people how nice things turn out.
I also have plenty of ideas for interior mods. Im very sure i can say the same about other guys.
so what do you guys say?
