if you are losing fuel pressure under boost like that, it has to be your fuel pump. it cant keep up with the demand.

JohnC you mean we have to use a good engine management system for all this whopping 230hp out of our L series? Dang! what i meant by "the z is anything you make it to be" was exactly what i wrote. You can make it a race car. throw some performance stuff into it and you can haul around a race track. you can make it a strip car. Throw some powerful things under the hood, and there you go down the track. you can make it a cruise car, nothing wrong with that. add some nice wheels, a nice paint job, a loud system, and cruise to the local hang out. the z has so much potential that it can be anything.

post this over in the turbo forum also. this sounds like a turbo related problem.

hey who needs a turbo when you got 230 n/a horses? imagine the drivebility without having the boost kick in. instant power, no lag, perfect street car. please share your findings.

ok bud if it ticks you off, why dont you share your findings and your tech experience/mods to help others. i for sure would like to know how to get 230 out of my n/a.

i have a friend in irvine that did his l24. man that sucker revved up so quick and high it was unbelievable. Imagine doing burnouts in 5th gear at 60 mph. Yeah try and turbo the 2.4 before the 2.8 and see how you like it.
