Yeah if its just a bearing its not like you have to buy everything new internal. Its ok though I feel your pain I was the same way when I blew my motor. I said thats it and was about to sell it. I cooled down, pulled the motor, rebuilt it and slapped a turbo on it and now have almost 325 to the wheels. Like Pop said though old cars do always require constant work and tinkering, but for most thats the fun part of it. On the bright side if you get a couple buddies to help you do it and not pay a shop to fix it, it could be a very good learning experience.
