    that piece is the way they come when they are then cut out (its less material = less cost too) Plus not all the cars are the same so thats why its still a 3 piece. i was just using the pic as a reference for custom taillights. And for the answer to the custom taillight dimensions it is about 11.5 x 5.

    Monkey: on the zx this panel will not work. SkYBlue280Z: IT will work on the 280z with some mods. You will need to find some 240z lights thou. My car is a 280z not a 240z

    wow ron that is gourgous. makes me want to stay with the L motor (well almost). DO you have a picture of the whole car? if the engine is that nice cant wait to see the way the whole car looks.

    oh yea just make sure you get a car thats pretty solid (ca car something). If not chances are the floor pans and frame rails are shot so you would have to go through the time (and money) of changing those. And if your not doing them your self cost goes up some more. like others said, if your pretty handy and can work on the car your self it will be worth it. Its saved me a ton of money.

    i say do it. it will be fast and dependable but proboboly not cheap.

    hey bart i say you go for the fade. People are gona say it wont work or wont look good but then again thats what they told me about trying to paint a candy red in my garage on my first time haha!!!

    im planning on going with the speartech wiring harness, I know mas280 (i think thats his name) is modifing the stock harness to work with z cars. He did it for sergios ls2 powered 280z. Try sending him a pm im sure he could help you.
