Hey Tim awesome progress on your car. I know you had your machinist fabricate some rear control arms and I was wondering what ever came of making those available to the public. I would really like to start making some progres on the suspension phase of my project. Im sure there are some others here interested in hearing as well. Thanks

You must have coilovers to use these springs. you need the sleeves and hats and adjusting perch. And most people section their struts. Do a search for more info.

I might be up for jumping into the loop I wonder how much it would cost to ship the thing everytime though probably like a 100 bucks that kinda sucks

sorry I just went to his site and noticed that he doesnt have any info on his 5 lug hubs yet. He is producing a 5 lug hub that give a front wheel drive offset for modern wheels, reduces the stock weight, and uses 280z bearings. For a very low price. Juan are you out there?

Ok guys thanks for your replies. Im more interested in revenge than gain. I dont want to take thousands of dollars or anything like that. I would like the small raise I was promised on many many occasions. But thats no big deal. I would rather have a boss that I can respect and trust. And I would like to expose him for what he is. My company has no security system or really internet tracking that I know off. So Im Up for ideas. Since Im not supposed to have internet access myself I cant really say anything about me finding this. But I check hybridz and hotmail and it appears someone else was checking more than that.

Well I know for a fact that if he was caught he would be terminated. Its just the fact that I wasnt supposed to have access to the computer he was using at the time or else I could just report him. There are alot of people that suspect him for related situations. He is not very bright if he does not know to even delete cookies on the machine he was using and I find that people with his personality and character or severe creatures of habit and thinking he can get away with it he will be back for more. I was thinking catch him in the act with a witness and go from there. Capturing his actions on tape would be nice. Photographs of the temporary files (cookies) showing that computers history. Also staying out of the situation all together and playing a third party role would be ok with me. Im more interested in Revenge than anything but I should probably shut up and be the nice guy I usually am. Take the sh*& and go on.

Actually My motive and my two other Co workers that know of the entire situation is a passionate hate that keeps calling for revenge. We spent a couple of hours after work discussing the subject. With media copies of the guilty party ready to be distributed to The company president, family members, and other key employees. I would think the cuffs could get pretty tight. This is supposed to be Mr. Family man Christian boss here.

Ok lets try to keep this short. I have worked for a smaller up and coming company for the past 2 years where I have been told all the bull about raises and promotions that I have not seen. Been overworked underpaid lied to and treated unfairly. Im not making any of that up and I wish I could give details. Well Right now I would like to stay there. Well heres the deal. I discovered that one night the operations manager (vice pres.) my boss and supervisor was on the internet surfing porn sites for almost 3 hours. I thought he was acting really weird so when he left I got on the pc and found the evidence. Now I know this is not really legal but what if someone were to catch a surveillance tape of him on the internet beating off in one of the other employees cubicles after hours? Anyone got ideas of how they would play this out just to get a small raise and add some job security. This could make life very bad for a family man and VP of a company. I dont really think I would do it but I am enjoying thinking about it.

I would see them as being easily grafted into the steering shaft and would provide a much simpler install than a fabricated power steering system. Just one of my late night ideas. If your looking for a cheaper alternative check out their springs from suspension spring specialists at only 38.88 per spring. I thought that was awesome especially if you want to experiment with spring rates. For my mostly street setup I was thinking of a 175 front and a 200 rear but for traction and helping out 60 ft times should I modify these rates? I want comfort with better than stock handling.

Have you double checked the calipers too to make sure the pistons arent frozen.

Sorry it was late at night when I was writing this. My car is a 240 widebody like I said earlier the car will be mostly street used and I want a handling upgrade with some added comfort but I also want to lean toward spring rates that will allow more hook up for drag racing. Right now the engine is mostly stock but will be getting a small block or ls1 in the future.

Hey guys I am putting together my own coil over kit and was wondering if anyone knew where to get the best prices on 10 inch 2.5 od hypercoil coil over springs. I found them for 48.00 each on the net so far anyone know where else to find them possibly cheaper? Also looking at the carrera coilover springs that just happen to be chrome plated. I have heard that the chrome plating can lead to spring failure but I have seen tons of springs in street rods like this??? This will be a mostly street car so Im leaning towards the carrera chrome coil over springs. Any advice... cheaper alternatives? Also trying to settle on spring rates. I want comfort with better than stock handling but also want to lean towards adding traction for drag racing. I am using tokico 5 ways if that makes a difference in my choice. Anyone?

Regarding the above post you are correct the subtle z front fenders replace the oem ones.

Man you idea stealers I was thinking about this a couple months ago guess its not my idea anymore. Anyway the subtle z fenders are supposed to add an extra 1.5 inches to the body so you should be able to run a 12 inch rear wheel. That would be cool. I am thinking about doing this on my convertible.

Im with you on this. I would like to round the front of the hood and go with a modified airdam from another car if I can find one close enough to work. I had thought about a 240sx fiberglass airdam if the dimensions were close enough. Also have looked at the new 350z airdams and Id really like to go with one of those and use the 350z or new toyota celica headlights. Although I do like the sugar scoops I want a modernized car this time around. Would love to hear more input or photo shop drafts on this subject.

I would like a carbon fibre dash cap for my 240 as It could be filled with foam and adapted to use as a nice looking race dash faily easily.
