  1. well what kind of flares did you want to run that company will not have any custom widths available although a 17x10 and an 18x10.5 version of some of those wheels listed are available on ebay.
  2. Im putting in my vote for a 5 lug setup that would include the wilwood brakes and give a +30-35 mm offset. That would be all I needed for the fronts. then I just need a brake setup for the rears (edit: in a 5x4.5)
  3. what price for those simmons wheels. I believe it was zr8ed that paid 5000 dollars for his set. The CCW price is alot more applealing to most of us.
  4. I was watching that auction for the second time. Id really like to hear some specs or see some info. Unfortunatly for us if it turns out awesome we will not be able to duplicate the swap due to the rarity of this engine.
  5. I think The offset should be changed to about a +30-35 mm offset this would allow the use of modern wheels without a spacer that most of us converting to five lug have to run. The main reason to convert to 5 lug is to be able to run the modern wide wheels made for mustangs, supras, 300zx's,rx7's, etc. The 0 offset im afraid would still leave almost the same limits on wheel selection still requiring custom offsets. Hopefully more guys will chime in here. Im also curious about changing out the bearings will this be a problem. Dont want to mess up anything. Also in reference to the az link. He is just running standard wheel hubs. Those aluminum hubs you were talking about are just hats. Juan (jay-z) also makes these soon to be in a five lug pattern.
  6. I know Tim is trying to be Dan Juday and tease us until we all go nuts!!!
  7. I need to see some different angles for some ideas I have. I have searched the site over and cant seem to find any pictures of this kit. Im not talking about the IMSA flares that MSA sells Im talking about the huge ones. Any pictures or links would be awesome. Jared
  8. I love it. Make one and ill pay out!!!
  9. You know s30 bushido. I have an imsa kit and with the bumper points filled in mine looks very similar. Im just not sure how it would look without the intercooler and just some mesh. Could you photoshop some mesh like you have on your front fascia into that bumper maybe in silver and black. Man you have awesome photoshop skills now if only I could create the same thing with some fiberglass. Well by golly im going to try.
  10. Man I love that front airdam that side shot was posted a long time ago. I wish I could find that airdam I would pay some serious cash for that. Probably2 or 3 times what its worth if anyone had a lead. Thanks for posting the new pics
  11. says you have to log in. What is it???
  12. are you talking about running the turbocharger and supercharger at the same time? jim cook racing has had a supercharger kit in the past but im not sure if they are still producing it or not. Try http://www.jimcookracing.com
  13. http://www.hybridz.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=11275 http://www.hybridz.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=26325 Searching will net lots of info and you will find lots of us are willing to help out after that function has been utalized. Try aircraft spruce (mentioned a ton of times on this board) for your fiberglass and carbon fiber needs. Although this will save weight your stock hood and hinges dont weigh 80 lbs. A carbon fiber hood can weigh in at 6 or 7 lbs and a fiberglass one at about 15. Using hood pins would save the weight of the hinges.
  14. Ok there have been several posts about this and similar topics please try the search function located at the top of your screen. Also comments like "hot chicks ass" arent really necessary to get your point across and dont impress some of us. That being said it looks like you are new to the board and havnt realized that the tone of the board is not the same as alot of the honda boards. Welcome aboard if that hasnt been said already. There is a ton of information here that will help you in all aspects of your project. I am also looking for a way to use a 5 lug hub in the rear for a different offset and bolt pattern. Good luck
  15. well guys I have pm'd the miata guy twice and I have never gotten a response back. I dont think he is here very often but damn is that a nice looking car. I want to do the same thing to my vertible.
  16. I see. Maybe they could be redrilled. I was just thinking about cost effectiveness and demand.
  17. Not the setup for me but it seems like a good idea. However with the thought of machining the 11.75 rotors I woulf first check into some oem rotors to see if those might work. It would be cheaper and maybe even eliminate the machining of the rotors. The only thing I would be worried about is the vented rotors would be losing a good chunk on the vents as I think the vents are only around the edge of the rotors but I could be wrong there. I would just make sure its not going to negativly affect the rotor or cause warpage. Sounds like a great idea for anyone wanting to run 15 inch wheels.
  18. Since its confirmed lets hear more about these aluminum hubs. Is strength and issue since the stock ones where steel? What is the price going to be on those. They sound awesome. let us know.
  19. Why a chevy pattern. Most aftermarket wheel companies that make wheels offer a ford pattern if they offer a chevy plus the ford pattern is the same for many jdm supra skyline 300zx and others that gives more wheel choices. I just think more people would be interested in the 5 on a 4.5 pattern. Not flaming just curious as to why you would want those.
  20. not going out to the fender with the Imsa widebody kit some huge meats will fit under there.
  21. Yeah but when running a 10-12 inch supra wheel you need more like 35mm of offset. I want to add to the hub offset to keep my wheels out to the fender.
  22. lol yeah a 245 would be dwarfed under those flared look into 335's and there are even 345's out and about now that probably could fit under there.
