  1. when I get my Power FC installed & tuned can they be consolidated into 1?
  2. 123 views and no answer? Now I have a power FC... Looking to get my exhaust redone and I was hoping for some clarificaiton. Can a wideband be used to replace the stocker or in addition to....
  3. Splitter and carbon diffuser ar next to finish out the aero. Exhaust had to be tilted to come from stock location out to exhaust cutout.
  4. I will be at the huge sonic meet--- still have some rubbing issues to tackle tonight but nothing I shouldnt be able to take care of...
  5. Still a lot of work to get done, wire up a few guages, weather proof the cut fenders, get a harness bar welded in, alternator upgrade, could use a new fan setup, and god the paint is terrible after rolling the fenders but she sure does clean up for a photoshoot. Unwashed, Unchopped--except for the plates
  6. IMport Intellegence is selling a stocker for 30 bucks http://importintelligence.com/FMPro?-DB=cart.fp3&-Format=garagesale.htm&-Token=12584643&-RecID=12584643&CustID=trimcord&-Error=index.html&-Edit
  7. Ya i had my stock setup out and this one in just to see if there was anything I could do--- but with this car I have been trying to do everything right the first time out.... jsut cause I have had bad luck in the past...
  8. Thanks for the link. Still above the skill level that I am at--- especially since i dont reallyy have the tools for fabrication like that. Regardless I am sure any reputable shop can make this in a heartbeat.
  9. Looking to pick up a power FC and I read on NICO that they are interchangable between series 1 and 2 motors. Anyone have evidence/experience to prove it?
  10. Directly from the sticky in the drivetrain forum: This is my first r200 conversion so excuse the rookie question 4. side stub shafts from 280Z or ZX with R200 to bolt up to stock halfshafts
  11. Like the title says I have an R200 going in a 260z. Arizona Z car will be the supplier of the mustache, and the diff cover I have so the last piece is the axles. LMK what you got Cash in hand. (well actually paypal) but still
  12. Well as you guys know the stocker pushes about 70 and sounds like a pinto if youre driving with the headlights and stereo on at the same time. I have a brand new quest unit, but in central jersey there arent too many shops in a 50 mile radius that can fabb it up for me and I would trust it. I tried to email AZC to see if he could do one for me, but I was wondering if anyone else knew of a place to get a prefabbed bracket.... I feel like its common enough where its a possibility.... Anyone?
  13. Once I get my car up to speed I definately have to clean up the wiring....thanks for the motivation and nice car!
  14. Another shot of my works 15x8 -25 up front 15x10.5-6 in the rear.
  15. That is outstanding information- but I am not looking to make a race car out of the Z. Its just a streetable fun ride that may see some drag/autox events but I am looking for adjustability in height for fitment and stance. The dampening adjustment doesnt really concern me as much as it would a professional driver For this forum that may be considered to be "rice" particularly with the grassroots guys, but at Datsuns become more mainstream as they have in the past few years its good to have an option for presectioned struts that dont cost 3600 bucks (i know theres more to the kits) that give you that "Street" adjustability....
  16. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I think there are enough Z owners on here to make a group buy worth it for bolt on, preshortened suspension with height and dampening adjustability...I already emailed tein to see what type of information they need and would love to see how many people are interested in getting this off the ground... Thank you CD1105!!!!!!
  17. As for the faq thread posted at the beginning... trust me I have been over it...as I am sure plenty of aspiring z tuners have as well... its just tough because a lot of us are coming from the bolt on world particulary in regard to suspension. 1600 is doable for the azc setup but for my usage 4k for the betamotorsports setup just isnt worth it. It would be a waste of a great product as my car will not be able to use the full potential of the setup. Is the AZC setup already sectioned etc? just bolting struts in as you would tokicos? Anyone have direct experience with it?
  18. Well, over the past few weeks I have made my way though the different suspension threads on the forum and am getting overwhelmed with a lot of information. Some is fact mixed with opinion, other is just processes that are well above my skill level. My question is this. Outside of the 3k options such as the AZC setups (Which still require the weld in camber plates) and all that jazz... is there a bolt on suspension setup that provides adjustability for the s30z? For those not sure what I am asking...is there a "Tein Flex" or similar for the s30 that doesnt require cutting and welding? Also please note that all "grow some balls" type comments will hopefully be disregarded. I know my skill level when it comes to cars, and I also know my budget. What type of bolt on setups are you guys running? Front Drop: Rear Drop Front Spring Rate: Rear Spring Rate: Dampening adjustability: Type of usage: Street only, Street/drag, Street/Autox, Track only
  19. 15x8 -25 front 15x10.5 -6 rear w/ 1.25" adapters on the rear. 195/50/15 front 225/50/15 rear.
  20. ya when i tried to sell it i found these wheels for dirt cheap so i took it as a sign.... Still a ton of work to go on the car, but this was going to be the biggest thing
  21. Well I am not sure how well known myself or my car is on this forum, but for those who dont know I am continuing the sixgun project that was begun by top hat performance in Georgia. Below is the beginning process of me fitting my 15x10.5 -6 w/225/50/15s in the rear and 15x8 -25 in the front. The front required no spacer and fit in my mind perfectly, with the exception of some of the inner lip that I am going to have to grind away. The rears required a 35mm spacer both for strut clearance and to fit the body. As you can see there is a pretty thick piece of metal acting as a support for the widebody that I will have to carefully grind away. Tonight I thought I was going to make a lot more progress then I did, however I went through one wheel on the rotozip and barely made a dent. Off to home depot.... anyway without any more delay--- front wheel fitment rear wheel fitment: I didnt think I would like the stretched look but it looks like I have no choice! tight fit, and I am really happy with the fitment. Grinding the lip is going to be a bitch though- Here is an idea of what I am working with: its almost a half inch thick. I will have to angle it pretty hard, and may even have to bust out my buddy's fender roller but I am not trying to damage the fiberglass that seems the metal kit together. All in all I have a nice winter project on my hand. I will most likely need coilovers to get the ride height that I want so that is next....anyone have any advice on suspension? I havent even begin to research...
  22. sportmax 006s 17x9 rear 17x8 front. FS very soon when my wheels for my winter rebuild come in
