No, not really. At least not any I could sell, I'm not sure on selling any of this stuff yet to tell you the truth. I'm trying to find out what I should sell it all at so I can later possibly sell this in the marketplace.

Also have a set of 383 cc or 338 cc injectors (need to check up on them)

Sorry to start one of these threads, don't know if they're allowed. But I've come to realize that I'm not ready to build my Z into a true racer and I'm just trying to restore it at the moment and keep the L28e+T running around stock. I have a lot of S30z and S130z stuff and I was wondering how much I can get for it so I don't put any expensive prices up and rip anyone off. First up is a kit I got from savageskaterkid who originally got the kit from panachedk. Real quality custom stuff, I wish I could keep the stuff but right now I think think it would be wiser to sell a lot of the stuff that I have and get my Z looking respectable again. Lots of dreams in these parts, unfortunately too much work and school to get it all done and I hate to keep these parts when someone else could be using them to get their Z better. Garrett T3/60-1 w/ .63 a/r(and stainless oil line) (Rated up to 575whp) Custom 3" down Pipe with screamer tube and Exhaust Manifold with flange for wastegate The kit has 67 miles on it, just like when I bought it. At work right now so I'll post pics they used to sell them. (hoping they don't mind, I'll also post pics for everything else once I get home) The TIAL piece from the second picture would not be included in the kit. Some ebay intercooler: 240sx 60mm Throttlebody Silver on black s30z seats (some wear maybe like 2 small tears, came from a 78 2+2. All black with the silver stripe on the bottom cushion) Leather seat reupholstry kit, all black leather with another black racing stripe down the middle in suade (don't know the maker, they're brand new though and top quality) 120 speedo for the 280zx off of my old 79. Complete drivetrain from a 1982 280zx (NA) which I planned to swap everything over into my 260z (everything included R200, etc) Complete black interior from a 79 280zx, missing only the dash and the black vinyl from the rear hatch. REALLY GOOD condition, almost mint. 2.5 and 2.25 intercooler piping (enough for like 4 cars, lol)

Looks good man, can't wait to see the final product.

Thread give me some hope once I get the L28et running, local seller is tempting me with a 1jz for 600 =/ , if I sold off all my L28et parts I could get that, have money for a swap, and have money for mods lol.

Happy Birthday JSM! I can't get you injectors, however I do know someone who can get a complete set of 440cc supra injectors from Toyota for like $130.00 or something. -

Please help. What is this '70 worth?
RayG1988 replied to ktmp's topic in S30 Series - 240z, 260z, 280z
New floors can easily be welded on. There's a local one in great condition and it was for sale for 600. Which is a steal here in FL. 1500 is still reasonable in my state, in others it may be a little too much. It never hurts to make an offer. You might be able to get it for less. -
car weight effect on lap times
RayG1988 replied to redrb26240z's topic in Brakes, Wheels, Suspension and Chassis
General consensus is that making a car lighter is never bad unless you upset the weight balance. As long as you're messing around with you suspension (if you're going extreme and removing more than just the spare and tools) you should be fine. -
Saw this car, doesnt look like any Z I've seen before
RayG1988 replied to icapture's topic in S30 Series - 240z, 260z, 280z
Theres a few more but they all look the same, lol. The car is kind of rough but with some love...oh yeah. But...I don't have money for another Z and I'm slowly fixing this one up. -

They're selling a 74 Fairlady Z 2+2 in Miami with a G-nose. I like the look. -

Sorry I randomly disappeared, had a crazy last 2-3 days couldn't even get my new hood how I had planned. Anyways, I know what you're telling me. I just have no clue how I'm suppossed to make it airtight to begin with. I'm assuming theres a process I have to go through and not simply put stuff back in place, otherwise I wouldn't be having the problem.

I didn't do anything to the crank ventilation hose but put it back to it's place. As for the PCV, I swapped just the filter (looks like an intake hose). Oh, and thanks so much for having patience with me. I know I'm a huge pain.

Car has an 82ZXT alternator, the reason I thought the AFM boot was the problem was because if I moved the AFM it would run better. My assumption was that it wasn'tg getting enough air. I now know my assumption was wrong. The car wasn't always stuck at the 2500rpm wall, if I moved it I could fix the car. Figured there was a hole somewhere or the general position was possibly upsetting how it worked. I have since not only replaced the boot with a brand new generic intake hose but I have also got a new filter, etc. I'm really lost right now because first of all I'm not the best mechanic in the world I pretty much just use my factory service manual and my EFI Bible. I then started thinking that the problem stemmed from the Crank case ventilation hose, since it did pop off when I was moving the AFM aroundm, but I don't know anymore. I'm overwhelmed at the moment, but it's not even like I could begin to do anything at the moment because I'm at work. I'm about ready to throw in the towel but I won't because this car is my dream car, even after all the problems, the car accidents, and the fact that it's a huge money pit. I guess I have to wait until I get home and see whats up.

The couplers I used were air tight, to my knowledge nothing should be getting into the AFM. Joe (240ztt) helped me in this topic: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=136616 Here's a picture of where the crank case ventilation hosew goes: http://forums.hybridz.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=8136&d=1216572495 Sorry it's a big file, the red circle is where it goes. To my knowledge though it isn't 100% needed really and you can just put a filter on it instead of the hose so it shouldn't really give me the problems I'm having.
-
Well, just so you guys know the AFM ended up in the same place pretty much. The old boot had a small hole, but now it has more problems. The crank case ventilation tube came out but that problem shouldn't have anything to do with it. Especially since I put it back (while it is a little loose), I'm really lost as to why I'm having this problem at all. Prior to this I had no problems except for the car choking every now and then. Today I'm going to make sure that me changing the little filter on the pvc thought I doubt that should have anything to do with that. I checked to see if my rotor was loose, if my plugs cables were in the wrong order or anything that may have caused that and I can't find the culprit.
-
I don't think so, but this car sure is ticking me off. This is a love hate relationship, she consumes all my money and never runs right.
-
Meh, so I have a new intake hose on it. Got my couplers everything seems to be connected correctly and the car sounds worse and is undrivable. It freakin' sounds like a lawnmower so I'mtrying to find out what wrong with it after switching the AFM boot. Also, completely unrelated but my clutch feels like its completely gone. Checked my fluids and they're all there so I'm unsure. This car has become a headache. I love it but it's becoming really annoying.
-
Yeah, cleaned up connections and did the whole ECU trick. No go. Yup, the problem is in positioning imho. Tried cutting the boot but meh...got another one but I need couplers before I get the car running.
-
Seriously dude, thanks a lot you went above and beyond. Hopefully I can get my headlights working tonight or I'm just gonna ghetto rig them directly to the battery lol.
-
Thanks Joe! It's just hard to figure it out when I don't have a lift and no way of looking down there to verify. Now I just need to fix my headlights and I'm good to go.
