  1. Alright, my wheels came in last night, no tires but here they are mounted. The fronts are kind of a tight fit, I'm not sure what size tires to run. Theres about a finger width of clearance between the coilover and rim. The wheels are 17x9 24mm offset 17x10.5 20mm offset
  2. wow, those look really good. What size tires on the fronts?
  3. I'm gonna have to say suspension as well. If your struts and bushings are that worn out its not safe.
  4. I should be getting these in the mail early next week. I think they'll look good. 17x9 24 17x10 20 Thinking about powdercoating the center hyper black or maybe gunmetal.
  5. http://www.freewebs.com/pallnet/products.htm Try this guy, he has good stuff. Used to post here a lot. Scroll down to the bottom.
  6. The Ford short shifter can only be used on the turbo models which used a t5 transmission. Non turbo is different. I don't know of any available for the zx, but I think I read somewhere that a s30 short shifter could be modded to work.
  7. +1 on the Aircraft stripper, its what I use on all my valve covers.
  8. Yes, post pics. lol, i didn't even look at the date of the first post and was wondering why the links didn't work. doh
  9. Be sure to check all your connections, especially the cylinder head temp sensor in the thermostat housing. That cause a lot of problems if the connection is poor or the sensor is just bad.
  10. Try Dave at Arizona Z Car if those don't work out. http://www.arizonazcar.com/510brakes.html Had the 12.2 in. rotor/ 4 piston combo on my last set up and it worked perfectly. Fitment was not an issue. Scroll down to the bottom for a few pics: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2281236/5
  11. you need the whole control arm to bolt up the 82-83 rear brakes.
  12. Lowering springs from a 240sx won't fit because they are quite a bit larger in diameter than the 280zx ones.
  13. Try cleaning the contacts with a pencil eraser. A search will probably bring up more details. They probably looked "burned up" if you take it apart.
  14. JGTC doesn't come to mind when seeing that car. Definately different.
  15. Man, I paid 599.00 on sale at Home Depot for the same welder. You really did steal that. I set mine up for mig awhile ago and am happy so far.
  16. I messed up the top couple threads and need to figure out what kind of die to get to redo them. Anybody know? This is for a 88 300zxt, thanks.
  17. Yep, thats how I ran my turbo conversion before I actually bolted on the turbo. Flat top f54/p90 head with 82 electronics, ran beautifully. But yea, with the lower compression it will be a little sluggish. If you're in a bind, it'll work.
  18. I think if you changed the length of the wastegate rod, you'll affect the amount of boost it makes. A picture I found.
  19. Hey, what year axles did you end up using? I just installed 88t stub axles and into my control arms but didn't get a chance to snag the right axles. I'm hoping any later turbo z31 will work with my 3.54 r200. Btw, my 17x10.5 wheels are gonna need a small spacer to clear.
  20. 81 280zx Turbo swap w/ flat top pistons 81 5 speed, 3.54 rear Konig Rewinds, Wilwood brakes
  21. 2001 Toyota Celica seats. Old pic, but the seats are still in there.
  22. ok, so I got the axles and if I spin on side shaft, the other spins in the same direction.
