  1. ... How about hybriding to go as slow as possible? http://datsun1200.com/modules/myalbum/photo.php?lid=5195
  2. Microsoft has a free antispyware program now that really works well. It accually runs in the tray and monitors for spyware installation, not just removes it: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=321cd7a2-6a57-4c57-a8bd-dbf62eda9671&displaylang=en
  3. Wind or guys in yellow shirts?.... look close EDIT: found another vid of it: http://strandbeest.ii.nl/movies/animaris%20rhinoceros%20transport_l.wmv
  4. Please please PLLLEEEEEASE dont do that fastfoward-->slowmo-->fastforward crap in the real deal.... I couldnt even stand watching this, although it looks like it would be cool.
  5. Flash? More specifically... a flash that is mounted to the left of the lens, like most cameras... This is NOT a photoshop people, look at BOTH pages of pics... The race scene is a concept picture I presume
  6. http://www.goldwave.com download the demo, It works well. It can import avi, mpg, etc. and save as mp3, wav, etc.
  7. Its definatly not as extreme (only 125cc) as what you are building, but I've been working on one myself: Built ENTIRELY from scratch. Its almost ready to ride My buddy says if he ever wrecks his '98 CBR600 smokin joe... I get dibs on the motor!
  8. http://www.nvbackflow.com/engines/ <--- this guy has a bunch of em, lots of videos too
  9. OK, I fixed the link, it should work now...
  10. It does about 20mph tops right now. Doesnt sound fast, but its scary fast on something that small. It also tends to wheelie on its own, when the powerband gets on, so NOS would be nuts.. Although a mini NOS bottle for looks is a great idea... Hmmm
  11. Anybody have any webspace that they could host this with for a little while?
  12. I wanted something smaller: http://www.nutschbuilt.com/files/movies/micro.avi 12mb vid, xvid codec EDIT: Fixed link
  13. Similar to the one I got at harbor freight: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=44567 Cheap, but works suprisingly well on light-med. duty stuff. Just dont expect a very clean weld out of it. Flux core wire tends to make a lot of slag/spatter.
  14. I have a gut feeling on this one..... Ramdrive? http://www.tweakxp.com/article140134.aspx
  15. Woot 74' CB450 Upgraded to 34mm mikuni round slides, and newtronics electronic ignition. Soon to have full cafe racer style conversion. .... And if it counts: 31cc, only 18" long, end to end... about half the size of a pocket bike, maybe less. built for the hell of it... and YES, its ridable! Does about 25mph
  16. Yea, that model you have to pop the front panel off to get to em. Then the drives should slide right out the front.
  17. WOOO, a fellow LFS fan.. cygnusx1: Send me a msg in AIM: jjmccheese I'll show you something in LFS you wont see anywhere else.. (Its Z.... related) -redruM
  18. Guy's, I talked to him a bit more... he apologized, and accually edited his description on ebay..... The car DOES at least have a perfect dash, so you might want to check it out after all.. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2497621704&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT Im guessing a perfect dash to be had for $100 is worth it?
  19. I emailed him this: > >"has not been started for 5 yrs"... yet ... "I started it 4 yrs ago" >"Master clutch cylinder is gone." "Stuck at 3,000 rpm's"... yet ... "Still driveable as is" >"front fenders show obvious rust" and "front end smashed" .... yet "Very >solid body" > > >??? > He replied with this: >>F*ck you, I am offering a 73 classic in obvious need of repair with >>weber carbs and rims that are worth 5x more than I am asking // Not >>to mention the strong, original motor with 90K .. I have been honest >>with the current condition, obviously you don't have a clue. If you're >>not interested, why did you bother to respond? Apparently a bullsh*t >>macho thing, please get a grip... The body is solid except for the >>above mentioned items, if you could read would make a great >>difference.... I have had 6 Z's (240,260,280,300) in the last 20 yrs and >>would give more than a couple hundred bucks for this one!! >>Remember, the orig 70-73 Z's are being bought back by investors and >>Nissan, re-vamped and sold for tens on thousands..... Yes is drivable >>and you're missing out, sorry... feret I know I was being an ass.... but cmon, he's asking for it. Anybody have a complete heap they wanna get rid of? looks like he'll pay $300+. EDIT 5 minutes after posting the above message, he emails me again: >Another idea?? > If you had a chance to buy a '73 240z with Weber carbs, solid engine, orig tranny, good interior parts, American Racing rims for $250 / would you?? > >The answer is yet to be told.... > >Let me know.... > Hmmmm
