  1. DOD can be deleted alot of guys pull the stock lifters and replace them with ls7 lifters. Since you are doing a cam and head swap you will already be there.
  2. Holy sh*t! You have that many cvs? A back half doesnt mean its not streetable all depends on how you do it. http://www.dfwmustangs.net/forums/showthread.php?t=842
  3. How do you not break axles? I couldnt keep them in my car.
  4. The motor is solid mounted by replacing the biscuut mounts with aluminum blocks and the trans is a solid mount also. There shouldnt be any issues with the motor moving.......unless I break a mount. (knock on wood) That hood is going to be cooking thats for sure. No hood would be easier.
  5. Time for an update. The OBX headers off of ebay fit.........they are tight but they do fit. I had to do a little massaging to a strut tower about 1/4". Turbo mounting is going to be tough not a whole lot of room. Might just break down and move the radiator. But hey she is partially back together. Other issue is the coils will have to be relocated no room for plug wires.
  6. Back half is my vote............ready........set...........GO!
  7. There are a few cages out there for around $300 that would get you by. Ebay has a couple and they just charge more for dom and cromoly.
  8. PVC pipe and pipe insulation. BAM! Problem solved.......just dont get caught.
  9. Every sensor you have they use. Street legal has nothing to do with it.
  10. Talked to an engine tuner today about o2 sensor location. This tuner does 1000 hp salt flat cars and several 2000 hp cars. He says the o2 sensor location is a complet myth. As long as the is no outside air coming in then it will be fine.
  11. The pump will put out a lot more than 50 psi. The regulator will determine the pressure. As long as your pump is good use it and go to autozone and buy a wix fuel filter for a c5 corvette. That will set your pressure at 60 psi which is more than enough for a tuner to tune your car and very close to factory pressure.
  12. What car are you putting this in? The stock z efi pump puts out enough pressure. Im running a walbro 255 with a c5 corvette filter has a built in regulator. Its mounted to the stock location on my 280z. Didnt have to drill anything.
  13. Cant imagine it is that much different. Your pedal is different from mine if its the corvette style.
  14. Im using the truck pedal. Metal base with 2 bolt holes not the newer plastic one where the bolts go sideways.
  15. I had to cut my pedal down but its mounts in the same location as the original. With 2 bolts nothing special.
