  2. Those things are fast a friend of mine got 12.56 bone stock off the showroom flow. had 1000 miles on it.
  3. I searched ls1 tech never found anything bad about on3 but we will see I dont mind being a guinea pig. As for headers if im going to make some I will build them from scratch. I found some universal ls1 headers that go up and forward for $600. Just havent talked myself into them yet.
  4. lol I havent heard anything bad about their turbos but obviously they arent the top brand out there. I have a lot more suspension work to do before I jump up to your level sunny 4k rpm launches probably wouldnt be the best idea with out some frame strengthening.
  5. He puts down 575hp not sure about torque. His fastest time is 11.2 but it will get into the 10 with new slicks. I saw that article also basiclally going to do the same thing. Turbo is ordered its a on3 performance 76mm. I had to talk my self out of twin dave trust me I was planning on 2 76mm but its a bit over kill so we will see what on3 is made of. If it breaks we will go with a bigger badder one.

  9. lmao You are looking at it wrong. You arent spending $300 you are gaining valuable parts for you z.
  10. You guys do know you can take about the plugs right. You dont have to cut them. Just have to make sure you repin them correctly.
  11. Do it yourself its not hard. www.lt1swap.com Tells you everything you need to do for free. Im using a 5.3 harnes plenty of room to put the computer in the cab.

  13. the first belt was too loose and wore out fast new belt works like a champ. We need to see how you black z handles my 280z before the turbo dom.
  14. I was getting a kick out of my boss at work trying to weld some exhaust on a salt flat car today. Was pretty entertaining with him shocking himself constantly damn tig welders.

  16. You dont need an idler for the power steering. Use the stock everything except i think i changed from a smooth idler pulley to a ribbed idler pulley. The belt is an odd ball size and most parts stores dont care it but it is available the next day usually.
  17. Yup i believe my previous dyno day is invalid considering the vacuum leak. A new dyno run would be $50 might do it.
  18. gm yoke is a gm yoke. Just did a t56 swap in a 68 chevelle from an auto same yoke just shortened the driveshaft. I have my old driveshaft if you need another one.
