  2. Has an ls1 egr intake nothing special. Air fuel has never been checked and has never been fully tuned. There are no o2 sensors it has a speed density tune. The plan is ls2 intake ported heads and a 76 mm turbo around 11 psi. Thats the reason for no o2 sensors right now. The dyno was reading a roughly 7-10 hp off that day do to no optical sensor.

  4. Nope they dont come out of the hood but damn its loud. I ran glass packs dumped under the seats awhile back and wasnt as bad but still annoying. Power isnt bad for a 5.3 the cam is very small 510/510 236/236 114 lsa but its not tuned for it and the lack of exhaust hurts quite a bit. Track times are coming having no fear hopefully this time it wont hop across the track in every gear. The 3.08s suck so badly its not even funny it did 141 mph on the dyno in 4th at around 5800 rpm will spin 6200 if i let it.
  5. Just did that setup in a 68 chevelle customer ordered everything from mcleod. Works well came with bell housing trans spacer flywheel pressure plate everything needed.

Hit the dyno this morning. 291hp 304hp 5.3 with a small cam tune but just a safe tune so theres more power to be had and was running open headers through the hood vents so thats robbing a little bit also. Wfritts I dont know how you ran open headers for so long way way way way way way too loud. Rear end is holding up really good just need the right springs way too stiff right now.   8. Oh and the 3:08 gears that come in this axle suck by the way. I can do 60 in first gear.
  9. As of about 10:30 tonight she drives again and feels pretty solid around corners. So we shall see if she holds up on the dyno saturday. The exhaust is just shorties running through the hood vents for now. I think its going to get exhaust through the fenders.
  10. Havent narrow it yet been busy. I got the 5 lug swap finished just need to align the rear end and hook up the brakes, then it play time. Shock are competition engineering coil overs so yes i can adjust the ride height. But where it sits now is where it will be until I clearance that crossmember for the axle housing.
  11. CV's are good but 1 is missing an end cap any cv shop should be able to get the cap. My measurement on the drive shaft is center of u joint cap to center of u joint cap plus it has the flange to bolt on to the r200 diff.

  13. Havent had mine hooked up for a while. But i did tie it into the heater core line until the heater core started leaking. never had any problem with it either way tho.

  17. Anyone got their ac working using the stock ls1 ac compressor? What parts did you use? Havent started hooking mine up yet just wondering if anyone has accomplished it yet.
  18. They are very short but the 4 link was a left over at work so it was free. Havent driven the car yet should be next week. But with a similar setup on a few cars I built they handled great absolutely no problems out of them.
  19. vacuum leak? inconsistent fuel pressure? bad tuner maybe? no offence ive just seen a few "tuners" that couldnt tune a stock engine to save their life.
  20. Here is the solid axle. you will have to excuse the welds my welder and I werent getting along that day. Still needs a couple braces put in and shortened about 6 inches. Unfortunately my nice exhaust i had on it will no longer clear the driveshaft so now im running the wonderful shorties through the hood vents..........too damn loud.
  21. Ill put some up tonight when i get home. Axle is an 8.8 out of a 96 mustang.
