  1. Take the independant rear end and drop it off a cliff.......if you use a 6 speed.

  3. Port the 5.3 heads yourself mill them down go with a big nasty cam with springs and push rods ls6 intake and call it good.
  4. Ya maybe i can have my engine out and on the stand in 1 hour. The rear end is in the car now she just needs some reinforcing and stronger springs. and dom needs to bring me some fender flares
  5. If it were mine the engine would already be out. But it doesnt look like bearing material more like piston rings or casting material. Did you use a new engine?

  7. 5.3 and 6.0 dont ware out like the ls1s do because no one beats on them. mine has 160k miles on it and the bearings look brand new. would be another option if you dont mind losing a little power.
  8. When i hit 3rd I started running him down. I did the 300zx turbo axles also didnt last long broke all the bolts holding them to the flanges. Now the entire rear end is out of the car and the solid axle 4 link is in it.
  9. Gotcha so you are doing everything brand new that makes sense. I have just shy of $5000 but didnt do nearly the restoration you are doing. Mine is a 5.3 and t56.
  10. How do you spend $13000 on an ls1 t56 swap. Im completely amazed must be one nasty car.
