  1. Here is a picture of my damper. For the record it came off a 1975 280Z. Also, my crank bolt measures 47mm. The washer is 8mm. See attachments. Thanks-Alex
  2. 17x8 rears and 17 x 7.5 fronts, here's a front trial install. I'm not running coil overs so I don't think I will be able to avoid spacers (running eibachs and tokico struts). I don't know the exact specs but I will find out. I'm hoping to fit 245/50 on the rears.
  3. Still interested in the mount plus wheel. Keep us posted.
  4. Have any pics to share? That's be great if I can make one too.
  5. Oh thanks. Can't this just be runned independent of MS using it's own led display?
  6. I ran into this just by googling around. Have any of you used this set up? http://www.14point7.com/JAW/JAW.htm
  7. I remember using lots of WD40 on mine. I did let the WD40 soak for a few hours. I used a rubber hammer thing and pounded on the sides. One finally loosened up after I wrestled with it. It took me a while and the words that came out of my mouth were not very nice. For the second strut I used the strut nut and the already out strut cartridge to make me my own version of a impact puller thing. See pic. The second strut cartridge came out with a couple of hard impacted pulls. Overall, it's a pain but I would use any ideas you have or can find online to pull these things out.
  8. Sounds fair to me. Let us know when your ready.
  9. Really cool! I would be very interested in the sensor mount and wheel mount. I also have the Dodge Coil pack and would be interested in a mount for it as well. Maybe you can make the mount for both the Ford and Dodge coils to cover all the folks:) Thanks!
  10. Do you mind letting me know which exact reservoir you got (link)? Any pics? Thanks man!
  11. Who can make me a surge tank to be mounted in the engine compartment? PM me. Thanks guys!
  12. Wow, that looks great! Thanks for posting the pics! Did you have to clock the turbo? Mine faces down and I kind of want it to face towards the drivers wheel panel like yours. Let us know if you have any fitting issues with the waste gate or the turbo hitting the chassis or drive wheel column thingy.
  13. Yes, pics would be nice. I'm working on my Hx35w and need ideas to make it fit.
  14. Any pictures yet? I will be running the same turbo on my 240Z. Still have plenty to go but making the turbo fit is a huge part.
  15. I had the same issue with my Tokico Blue struts and I ended up using two washers. Funny, these were only needed on the front struts. It's been six months and no issues.
  16. Maybe the stimulator is the problem? There are capacitors which can also be non polar. I guess it's time to double check the schematic. Hopefully next month I will buy my MS II PCB 3 kit and start building it. http://encyclobeamia.solarbotics.net/articles/capacitor.html
  17. Matt, do you have any pics you can post? Thank you.
  18. Yes, your probably right. I'll be on the look out for a turbo friendly cam. Any idea who makes good turbo cams for a street car? Depending on funds, I may just make the turbo set up work as it is with safe boost just so I can go through the exercise (I need the experience).
  19. Thanks Bobby! Yes, if you can get the exact measurement of the spacer that would be great. I may follow this route too. It also appears you welded your external waste gate to the manifold. It's looking really good!
  20. So how are you dealing with the issue of the HX35w hitting the maniful? Are you getting a spacer? Also, how are u dealing with the waste gate issue? Other folks using this turbo mention trying to make this spacer work by welding it to the turbo maniful. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/T3-TO-T3-ADAPTER-FLANGE-WITH-WASTEGATE-FLANGE_W0QQitemZ370072113439QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item370072113439&_trksid=p3286.m14.l1318 I don't like welding stuff but if it comes down to it I may have to.
  21. So Bobby, what did you end up doing? Post pics if you have any. Thanks!
  22. My Z came with some type of cam. I will take pictures of it when I install the turbo valve cover. I'm hoping someone will be able to give me an idea of the type of cam it is.
  23. When I bought the car it came with a fully rebuilt motor and worked p90a head. I did not know enough about Zs to ask what type of head gasket was used. This coming from a guy who spent a week researching pointless distributors just to find out I already had one in the car, doh. Anyways, I was wondering if I already have a metal head gasket since I ran a conductivity test with my multimeter (placing probes on the gasket) and it shows it conducts electricity. OR do all head gaskets come with a metallic conductive outer edge?
