Truthfully, I think my R32 drives like stock with the EMU in it. A lot of people who have driven/ridden in it don't believe it's on standalone. However, I do have roughly 20 hours or so on tuning the stock turbo and injectors to get it just right. I get much better gas mileage than stock as well too. I think though, that it's also because it's an old car running an 8 bit ECU, and suddenly went up to three decades of technology lol. So.....about that invite to see the car?

Hey fellas. Pretty soon the R32 is gonna go in for paint finally. I'm looking to find a burgundy that's like an OEM color. Doesn't have to be an OEM Nissan color, just an OEM color in general. That way down the road, if something happens, I can get the paint matched easily. Any suggestions?

Agreed, I don't see why you don't go standalone. I could get you a megasquirt or ECUMasters for a great price if you're willing to try it out. Megasquirt just updated their software to support the VQ trigger wheel.

I just tuned a 2jz-vvti in a S13. 850cc, 93 octane, GT35R. We got 559/504 at 80% duty cycle on those injectors. It's a drift car, so we didn't want to push it anymore. He is also using old style injectors. https://www.facebook.com/KRMotorsports/ Scroll down a little for his dyno sheet.

I actually use an Asus Transformer. It's become my dedicated tuning laptop. It has a full sized usb, with a detachable keyboard. I use my winbook TW700 sometimes, but I have an issue with my fingers being so fat. I updated the Transformer from Win8 to Win10 and it was all plug and play. The TW700 took some work, updated to Win10 and it was slow as dirt. I had to do some registry hacks, and delete the old partition for win8, and it runs pretty decent now.

Speedhut now offers a 5 1/2" gauge. Fortunately we had OrangeTang talk a bit more about how everything fits in the dash. I'm under the impression that the 5 1/2's will fit on the dash like the 2 5/8's. Who wants to be the guinea pig? Special discount for those who want to try it!
