Ill be dong that for my turbo swap, I plan on cutting out a few in. of metal around it and then welding it into my hood so I get the nice rolled edge the original mounting has.

lol now I dont feel as bad for stripping everything off the motor and just having the block and head before I thought to check the valve cover.

while racing at PIR I lost a rocker all together, before it fell off completely it was making a god awful "TACK TACK TACK TACK TACK". lol so yes, yank that valve cover and check all your rockers

i know its repost but my other title sucks, i wasn't aware of the seriousness at the time. My mom goes to church with the woodburn police chief. hes currently in critical condition as the news said and the police woulnt confirm the death but one officer is dead, i dont have a name. check the wire make sure its on good and the connecter hasn't come off the wire or anything.

Greg: the L28et is getting a full rebuild, all of the alum. has been bead blasted and clear coated, all new pumps/fan clutch ect. The first set up will be running the stock turbo and ecu with a FMIC and 2.5in down pipe/mandrel bent exhaust(no cat) and the 240sx throttle body with a few other little things. Later on Ill upgrade the turbo to a T3/T4 and do porting of the head/manifolds, and build a new 3in mandrel bent exhaust from the DP back, megasquirt, EDIS and a few other top secret goodies

Take off the carbs and then start taking off the intake/exhaust, they share a few bolts. Theres no "wrong" way to take em off (also check your spelling and grammar, your post is somewhat difficult to read )
