Funny how the ones that dont care about the car being rare, coming with a l series stock, and all for a v8 is Evilc and wait whats in your 71....OH a v8. Shocking, but seriously we all know its his car and is Going to do what he wants, its just such a rare car and almost a waste to do so. I got a proposition for you, i have a rust free shell down here in texas in alot better shape than that car, you drop that car off at my house and you can take my shell with you back to Ohio and put a v8 in it. I even have a kit that came with one of the z's i bought i'll include to help you out on your grand journey.

Or he is going to end up like others on this site and get banned/someone is going to go looking for him and its not going to be pretty. Its just not that hard to have good customer service, the problem is he's in california, but he "works" in mexico. I'm betting so he doesnt have to worry about taxes and its cheaper to produce in mexico, I'm sure. But also he needs to have the parts ready if he's going to post them for sale, thats just retarded to advertise a part (without putting a lead time) without having it, and I hate being lied to. If you dont have it Say so, if you say its shipping it better be here and with tracking/insurance and with the paperwork so we can get it fixed if it does get messed up in shipping. Hey man its Jeff from the old wednesday night cicis and sams meet in plano...drove a white and then a silver 280z....explain this to me real quick. You would MAKE thousands more than you have in it. (you say only a few grand??) If i wrote you a check for 2-3k and said have a nice life you wouldnt take it? Then to make it even better, you say you could build the same car for Cheaper...or Better than what you have in it now and you wont? (Even more money or nicer/faster/better car??) What am i missing....your car is nice,dont get me wrong, but i dont think its 15k nice. And if i owned it and had 10-12k in it and knew i could do it all over again for even less and was offered thousands more? I'd tell him lets go to the bank and let me drop myself off at home and have a good one.

I'm guessing not with 345 to the wheels, I'd say it has a mild/medium set-up. Most stock ls2 gtos dont put much over 300 at the wheels so im thinking theres more than just bolt ons....except for the spray =)

Yes it is 4:55am here and i just took the parts off the car. Thats also what i was thinking and just figured out "you know theres probably only a handful of those" so i yanked that stuff out of the car like WHOA! I have been looking all night at Bob Sharp stuff and there is alot of info but not much at all floating around. Looks like i'll be holding onto this stuff, all of it, and getting some cheap replacements

See the issue with that is i can clean it up, polish it, powder/ceramic coat, but i would hate for it to just sit away and not get used. And i dont really want to mess with its "original-ness" by cleaning or doing anything to it....its aluminum, it can always be blasted and polished/coated ten yrs down the road.

just go with the lexus if you go red/maroon its the best it gets...or that black cherry color on the murano if you want a deeper metallic color

i noticed that after looking at em for a bit, 1 center is missing =( but im thinking about selling this great stuff guys so you might be seeing it in the classifieds soon, i hate to because it will be worth even more but i hate that it would just be sitting in a closet colecting dust....and im positive Bob wouldnt want that. I might just have to sell the cover/cap, and keep the wheel since it does have the signature. Also the car came on some momo old school d window wheels and had the a/r's sitting inside. I'm thinking the momos are just as old if not older (ill snap a pic when i get a chance).

I like the rating idea...look at what has happened with ohhh lets say 280zforce justin (if you dont know look at big phils videos). Just because theyve been members forever, vendors, have huge post counts, that doesnt mean crap to me. If you had this kind of system you get feedback on if they gouge you (money/time/shipping/etc) or misrepresent a product/item for sale/trade.

yes it is....haha on craigslist it said ...."280z" thats all, no pics no nothing FINALLY got ahold of him and looked at it and said consider it sold, do you need a down payment now or what. he said no biggie you cant really drive it home tonight anyway, i was like huh? why not? then i looked under the hood....as you can sortof see in the valve cover pic the wiring is chopped like chicken stir fry...random crap everywhere, im just going to buy a full harness set from the headlights to taillights (if anyone has one for sale pm me asap please). If all else fails i already can get an efi harness but i need the dash & light wiring too.

haha so thats what i should have told him......lol its got headlight covers,all the bob sharp stuff, n42 intake,& a 3-2 header ive never seen before (first 3 slant down at the single connector and second set are farther back, like a real equal length,) more sharp parts???? or is it a nismo or something of that sort? some minor rust but all in all aside from the trans/clutch issue its a good car and scoots right along, oh and just got word his friend is getting the title in 2-3 weeks. so clear title car with some goodies for under a grand...i think i did quite well

ding...vatozone....i like oem lol but lifetime warranty does have its advantages. just admit you are wrong and know nothing about z's and we'll let you off with a slap on the wrist and a slight warning =) oh and while im at it...if you would be so kind pm me the # you use there so i can get me a new one i'd be very grateful, sisters getting the new car and trying to go as cheap as possible

phil stop stinking this place up with that bright carona and lime paint job =) but really i had a 79 280zx that was maroon from the factory and i repainted it that lexus color (maaco but did my own prep) and it came out pretty good and made me money ($500)when i resold it after buying it and driving it for a year and a half only putting a starter,fan motor, brake pads, new recovered seats, and that paint (all totalling about $700) and the radiator was leaking like a civ when i sold it so i think i did pretty well and loved that color

haha the car i just bought did the same thing...im going to try bleeding it out but on the drive home i had to pump the piss out of the clutch to get anything and even with it fully depressed at times it wouldnt go into gear, not even rev matching and the trans is grinding....so new slave/4spd for her today or tomorrow

pretty sure bolts are 12mm and bleeder is a 10mm

soooooo.........opinions....heres how the "story" goes according to guy i bought it from.......... guy had car, sold on ebay with no reserve and practically got stolen it was so cheap, new owner was "shipleys donuts" owner, sold it to kid, kid sold it to friend (lost title in process), and now friend sold it to me. just told the guy who sold it to me to get ahold of his friend and get me a new title from austin (just has to apply, pay small fee and BAM new title in the mail) now for the specs/pics.....i was told its a low comp 3.1 stroker has cometic head gasket arp head studs....it does have the p90 turbo head. i havent dropped the pan or looked through the engine just yet (transmission isnt wanting to go into gears so im about to start tearing it ou and replacing but there are some other goodies on this car people might notice/be interested in so i figured id let the masses see... anyone know these wheels? cover =) cap =) and wheel =)...not etched...signed??

if i were you id do the red/maroon from lexus (ls 460) nissan(r35)/infinit(g35) has a reddish marron color but i love the lexus' more examples oh or this lexus,same color but sexier =)
