  1. Hey thanks a lot, I will go after this reaction disk tomorrow or the next day for sure and let you guys know if that was the problem.
  2. EWWWWW! the front end looks like a bug, the roof has a weird pointless indent, the mirrors are ugly, and I hate the slant of the headlights, the rear end is ok.
  3. What I want to know is how does somebody build and engine like that, regardless of what it really puts out, without becoming a member on hybridz.org along the way?
  4. by mass air do you mean cold air intake? if thats the case Id say ebay. 40 bucks for everything iirc
  5. Do a search useing the terms " ebay turbo" then you will find out why its cheap.
  6. Actualy guys thats perfectly reasonable, in the book "how to modify your datsun engine" they show a 600 HP l6.

Well, I searched "reaction disc" like you said, and you are right, this sure sounds like a probable cause for my problem, in my searches I found people saying it was easy to check, but no "how to's". Does anybody have any pictures or links they can please send my way? In the mean time I will keep searching, thanks.

  13. I took mine off and ran the breather to just before my throttle body, doesnt waste fumes and looks cleaner.

  15. I bled the brakes today, no air was coming out but I bled them for a while anyways, then topped off the fluids, and the result: Pedal still hits the floor and I still have to start brakeing way sooner then I used to, the pads are good, this happened right after my suspension change, grrrrrr.
  16. I was just reading a few good threads about that T last night, There are T's you can buy that fit into the block and oil pressure sending unit with no mods, its like 20$. But if you get the T npt an tap the hole, it will work fine, the oil pressure sending unit is NPT anyways (now why would they do that?), this is the route Im going, I bet the T is 5 bucks at osh. Now if I could remember what size... time to find the threads I was reading last night! On a side note: I just finished my rear suspension so now I have KYB all around, I wasnt used to it and a hit a speed bump to fast, ouch. Oh, and I did my rear suspension without taking the axle off like I was told I would half to.
  17. I know the question want directed at me but as far as I know (from searching) the oil restrictor is to ensure the tubo doesn have any oil pressure at all, if it did it would smoke and burn oil.
  18. To reset the ECU you have to leave it, or the battery unplugged ofr a good 15 min I believe, but remember, that was a big guess and I really dont know if it will solve your problem.
  19. well you see I disconnected the calipers, but left the lines on them, and the lines connected, Im not sure exactly what a reaction disk is but I will look into it and check it out tomorrow, thanks for the tip.
  20. Well I figured this one out to, my message for hybridz today is this: "crappy breathers wont allow the any breathing... My cheapo breather got a film of oilish stuff on it and you couldnt even blow though it, I replaced it with the KN style breather and the issue never comes back, thanks for all the advice.
  21. Well I finaly found out what was causing this... I am letting you know, bring this dead thread back up, to say: "check EVERYTHING, sometimes its out of the norm but still staring you in the face" It was grounding out in my car alarm which was wired to my lights, and I believe fuse, so its all good now. thanks everybody
