  1. Im bleeding the brakes tomorrow, I will let you guys know if it worked or not... (Im also finishing my rear suspension, sorry, had to tell somebody who would understand why I am looking forward to working on my car)
  2. Well I have a bunch of random 280z injectors, more then 6, if you want them I only ask shipping, all are working but could use a good cleaning. But in about 2 weeks I am instaling zxt ones, you can have my old ones, but I doubt you want to wait.
  3. So this was without the turbo? Your title made me think this was with the turbo, If it was without the turbo good job, I like your plate btw
  4. At least we can close this one whenever we want to
  5. Progress!!!!! Get her on the road asap, if you need a hand let me know... oh, you should come by shop today and help me get my rear suspension done:lol:.
  6. I am using an NA base right now, I believe a t3 can produce all the boost my engine can handle, but, yeah, your right... well I guess I am done spending money on it for now, on to other parts of the car. So how about the oil line question, it should work right? I really think it would, but there is always a chance I am wrong.
  7. rice and nice, they may rhyme, but they couldnt be farther apart... that spoiler isnt nice IMO... leaving the other option...
  8. I was wondering if I could use fuel injection hose for my turbo oil feed and outlet lines. I dont see why it wouldnt work, Im just checking so I can be 100% sure. Rambling update: I now have (or have ordered and am waiting on) EVERYTHING I need to get this turbo setup into my engine bay.. Like I said, Im waiting on a few parts but in a few weeks my dreams of boost will become a reality!. If only this would be the end of me spending ALL of my extra cash... sigh... I will be gathering parts for a 5 speed swap next, but that will be a different thread at a later time... or maybe I will paint, hmmmm.. To be honest I am glad I am done spending money on this turbo stuff, I have been finding good deals and have been spreading it out over some time, but as soon as I got a paycheck I bought something... My dreams of boost made me broke for the last month or so. Its time to put this "investment" into play!
  9. I like the new one best, flows with the body.
  10. those had the 351 clevland, iirc, that will do the trick
  11. Somebody at the meet I just went to had a locking lug nut on his, so they do exist, if thats what you were talking about. Edit: forget the above, misread, sorry about that.
  12. the easiest way if your keeping the stock ECU would be to remove the EGR and connections, the hose from the crankcase to the PCV, the hose from the carbon canister to the intake (run one to the TB so you dont waste the fumes), thats just to name a few, painting valve covers makes it look a lot better to. Heres some pics (not as clean as a lot of peoples but way better looking then stock: Before: After: Like I said, not nearly as nice as a lot of peoples but everything I did was free and easy (except the paint)
  13. alrighty, thanks everyone, now I know what sizes I need, and now for the angeled pieces, but that, I can only find out on my own, thanks again everyone.
  14. sweet, now how about the turbo outlet, like, in between the turbo and intercooler?
  15. I would assume so, with a little bit of lube it should be a nice snug fit, Im just wondering if the 2.25 will be able to clamp down enough to fit my 2 inch intercooler outlet. I imagine most types of hoses would but Im unsure about how much silicone can flex. EDIT: scratch that, I just saw where they had reducers, from 2.25-2.00, so now I know what sizes I need from the intercooler to the TB! But not from the zxt afm to the turbo, or the turbo to the intercooler...
  16. Roll the windows down and drive faster:biggrin:, I grew up in Redding, I know how 115+ weather feels, it sucks!
  17. Ive never even touched silicone hose before so I have no idea how stiff it is, would 2.25 clamp down to a 2 inch surface? sorry for all of the questions I just dont want to order the wrong stuff. Thanks.
  18. Patent the design then show spearco
  19. Well the inlet and outlet on my intercooler are 2 inches, I guess I will just have to measure the stock afm boot tomorrow. Unless somebody on here knows? The next size up is 2.25, then 2.5, 2.75, ect.
  20. Thank you, so would I be able to fit 2 inch hose over it? Im not sure how much silicone hose flexes. lol, I am working at work, I am a great mutitasker:biggrin:
  21. If any of you know any of the following please let me know: Size (in inches) of: Stock TB? ZXT AFM? T3 outlet? You see I decided to go this route: http://www.siliconeintakes.com/intercooler-pipe-fabrication.php and am trying to figure out what pieces I am going to need to buy. The inlet and outlet are on the same side of the FMIC so it should be pretty simple once I find out the measurements. I would measure myself but I am at work right now and will be untill late tonight. Thank you. -Michael
  22. wait up, there unsafely slow car I learned how to drive a stick in serves a purpose... cool!
