  2. Search.. Ive made about 10 recent threads concerning the cobra wheels.
  3. Yeah thats the same thing I thought.. Im not sure on the specs besides theyre 17x9, and I used 1" spacers. They come very close to touching the struts but do not touch.
  4. Its my grandpa's 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-t with 237K miles. Its in very good condition for the age and mileage. Suprising a DSM can last that long without breaking.
  5. Ahh yeah you have a good point. Im mainly wanting to run a closer tire-flare clearance. Not too worried about the rocker being extremely close to the ground. Tired of having 10 inch gap from the top of the tire to the flare. Just a couple pics - Before cutting coils. After - Only reason I cut coils was so I could start seeing where I wanted the flares. So nobody "freak out" lol. I only want the car about 1.5" lower in the rear. Here is the angle of my control arms. Thats with 2 coils cut off the stock springs.
  6. Well Im not sure if sectioning the struts would be neccesary since im running a larger tire than some. I have 255/40/17's which are bigger than most peoples. Are there any stock size strut and spring combos that have adjustable shocks and a decent spring rate for daily driving. Not looking for a full race setup. We dont have any road courses or auto x aorund here.
  7. I know these factors... 1. Need new shocks 2. Needs to be hammered 3. Want a halfway decent ride quality 4. Want adjustable shocks As long as im not spending over 700 or so bucks on a entire setup, ill be happy. Anyone have any suggestions?

  9. Nope, those are almost it though. I have 03 Cobra Replicas. You will need adapters and you wont be able to run these without fender flares unless you do some more stuff. You can find them cheapest at http://www.americanmuscle.com
  10. The wheels stick out a good inch and a half. Im pretty dead set on the look as of right now, and know its what im going for. The hood and how I am going to run the exhaust are the only questionable things on my list unless anyone else has any other suggestions besides getting rid of the flares

  13. So you guys that are running stock fuel pumps are running 58 psi? Sorry for all the questions, im just not too big on fuel systems, its not my category.
  14. I got an 04 GTO one even with a B&M shifter for 900 bucks. Take your time and look around. www.car-part.com is where I found mine Ebay, LS1tech, craigslist, places are all over.
  15. Its a 77 so the tank is already sumped.. Now guru's, introduce me to what I need. What fuel pump? What Fuel pressure regulator? How many fuel lines, fittings, and stuff like that am I looking for? Honestly guys I hate fuel systems, lines, and all of that stuff. I have a 2000 LS1 fuel rail.. can I keep that or do I have to go blow another wad on some aftermarket fuel rails.. lol.. im so sick of spending money if anyone has noticed. I think thats about all of the questions I have on that. Thanks. Just for my super.. super duper enthusiasm about being broke all the time - woot fricken woot
  16. I bought the one off eBay so help me god it is the greatest cheap thing I have ever bought!!! Good construction, everything fits the way I wanted it to, and it was labeled extremely well. Yeha I know I know I havent started the car yet, but I needed some specifics and he got it to me the right way.. Sounded like your 1st problem lied within your Start/Run wires that go into the ignition, and your second problem lies within either a vacuum line unhooked or MAF is junk.
  17. Must be a common thing for pull outs to have aftermarket shifters LOL... My 05 GTO T56 had a brand new B&M shifter on it, and I got it for 900 bucks lmao.. Can you give me a brief description of how youre running your whole fuel system?
  18. What are most of you LS1 guys out there running in the quarter? List your mods and what you ran with them. Just wanting to know whereabout I will be @ stock compared to where I will be after L92 heads/cam.
  19. Hot Rod Magazine has a COMPLETE write up on the 6.0 truck engine. I highly reccomend people to get it. Just bolting on L92 heads, L76 intake and headers, it made something like 440 FWHP, which is insane for just that. Cam numbers would be crazzzzy. Just buying heads, cam, intake, and throttle body sounds like a plan
  20. 6.0 with L92 heads and live with the L76 intake for a while until aftermarket arrives. I have this engine in my Z and its the routh im going with.
  21. Car - 1000 Paint and bodywork ~ 450 Misc parts - 3852 Engine - 1000 05 GTO T56 - 1000 Recent stuff - 1900 Jeez.. kinda depressing. It should run in about a week though!! lol
