  1. Well after seeing what my car did to the 255's on the back.. I am probably going to get a 10.5" wide wheel, with a 275-295.. It seriously just obliterated the tires from a 40 roll.. I couldn't even punch it in 2nd because I might as well had the clutch in. My fenders were perfect when I started also. I really did NOT want to cut them at all, but the color combo and wheel size, begs for it to be lowered pretty far, this was kinda the only way to do it with a considerably wider back tire. Cant wait to see what it looks like with the front done.
  2. Ok so, the day started out with tape, and an idea... Hmm, what could we do that is constructive and not... destructive Oops!! Slipped with the cutting wheel Better fix that damage I guess, Ill use the peel method! Hmm... Now with a little love and care.. Viola! Just needs lowered more now. _________________
  3. I as well stumbled upon the easy power mod. 6.0 swap, Stock GM L92 heads, mild cam, BAM, youre done.
  4. Not really.. theyre the biggest PITA to put on or take off while engine is in the car, and the pass. side one requires you to put a rather hefty dent in your firewall and it still doesn't fit too great.. makes it almost impossible to have an exhaust shop put exhaust on...
  5. Heh, maybe he could accidentally send me a pair of ceramic coated ones since ive been boggling my mind trying to make these fit, making a dent in my firewall for them, had to cut the other side iron chunk off of the engine, heh, great.

  7. Wish I still had all my precision measurement tools. Sold them to a buddy who ended up making his career as a machinist and sold them to him. Im 100% sure these are not the correct headers, so I will just contact JTR tommorow when they are open. Hopefully he can resolve the issue.
  8. Ok, since day 1 when I got my swap headers, I have thought that the primaries looked kinda.. well... weaksauce.. major weaksauce. So I didn't pay much attention and kinda blew it off as oh well, thats my only option. I paid for the larger primaried headers so I dont understand why theyre so small.. WELL.. Ever since I put the headers in, the passenger side really hasn't fit worth a damn and if I ever wanted a shop to put exhaust on, I guarantee they would be whining and crying for 3 days about how hard that pass side collector is to get to, you basically have to pull the engine to do anything with that collector. I REALLY dont feel like pulling my engine out AGAIN, to take these off and send them back. There really is no other way to get that side out though. Here are some comparison pics... The JTR Ceramic coated headers.. the larger primaried ones.. Here are my JTR headers.. the larger primary ones, that dont look so large to me. The pipe goes down in size considerably as it leaves the flange... you can also kinda tell by how large the gap is between the tubing, as compared to the pictured above. Something doesn't look right here at all. And it looks like i'm in for some more, waiting, out of more money, fun, work, bloody knuckles, whining and moaning.

  11. The wheels are 17x9 Cobra Reps Check the movie @ 1:55 to see what it looks like with it out of its little couped up garage. I like em and dont want to change em, but I am also seeing if there is any way I can sway away from the flares.

  16. Hardest part definitely has to be the end.. when you know its almost done but cant really muster up the energy or drive to work on it, after alllll the hours youve put into it before.. It sucks, but ill tell ya, Im very close to driving mine, like tommorow hopefully.. lol but it is definitely a GREAT feeling of success.. Look at my video thread where like 3-4 people said they jumped outta their seat when my car started, that right there is what keeps me going!! Hope everyone who starts, doesn't quit and keeps on kickin until its done!
  17. Haven't weighed mine yet.. All I know is that me and my two other buddies had to pick it up and move it around the garage one night.. kinda wierd picking up your car.. lol
  18. My budget - $5,000 Total Spent so far - Nearing $10,000 for everything. I just started my car for the first time today too.. lmao. This stuff definitely isn't easy on a budget.. actually it totally smacks "budget" in the face.
  19. This thing is NASSSSTY.. revs sooooo fast... I dunno if you can tell but the TPS is showing I only gave it 80% throttle... :rockon:
  20. Heh, its on its way. I just got a call from the place ive been waiting 2 months to get a call from.. interview next thursday = commence turbocharging process
