Ok now Im thinking about just forgeting the Datsun wiring and going with my own relay setup! I just cant figure out were I went wrong. I plan to rewire the whole car this winter when I have it in the garage for 5 months. I want to do something like Tim240Z did and wire everything up to relays and updated fuses(not those glass tube ones). Cause I'll admit it.....right now my cars wiring is a mess Thats what I get for rushing the job! Now I get to go all over it again! Eeee I guess I cant do everything right, it wouldnt be fun( ) if everything went smooth, yeah right! Guy

Well I figured out that when I dont have the dash touching the frame of the car the wipers work. I have some stuff grounded to the dash board so maybe if I ground those to some grounds that were originally there my wipers will work? Also when I do get them to work...they stay at the top when I turn them off instead of at the bottom of the windsheild? What does that sound like it could be? Come on guys I know some of you are wiring gurus!! Guy

Well I didnt tap into the clock, I didnt think I did but I just wasnt positive! Now what I do know is that when I disconnect the accesory relay(this is behind the glove box) it doesnt blow the fuse. However with out this connected my wipers dont work! How can I test that relay? Or the circit that is going to that relay? Guy

Actually I dont think you can. I think the LS1-T56 is different from the LT1-T56. I think it might be the bolt pattern or something? Someone should here should know though.......right guys! Guy

Actually most of you wont beleive this but with the MSA mounts the T56 fits in the tunnel very nice. I did have to remove the old tranny mount "ears" from the tunnel but there was very little modification to the tunnel itself. But like Greimann said you will have to fabricate your own tranny mount unless you use the MSA engine/tranny mount kit. Its tranny mount is designed for the 700R4. Guy

I guess I'm just curious what DD has to say? I will be able to get on a dyno near the end of August for free(theres a dyno at the tech school I attend and I was buddy buddy with all my teachers!) I didnt think it would be too much of a hassle to throw my numbers on DD thats all. Guy

Yeah I just downloaded the free demo of DD2003 but I cant change all the stuff I need to do my engine. I wasnt sure if it would be a big hassle or not? Can you buy DD at like Best Buy? Or is it only sold through their website? Guy

I thought R200 had 200mm rings and the R180 had 180mm rings? So why would they have 110mm/115mm rings? Cause a 110mm ring is only 4.5" but a 180mm ring is 7.3" and 7.3" is more like the size they are...right? Guy

Ok I have no idea how this happen but my wipers wont work because there is a short in the wiper electrical system. How do I know this? Well my 15A fuse keeps blowing because there is 40 amps in the circuit! I have no idea how this happen...all I did was unplug a few things when I took my dash out and I upplugged the connection at the wiper motor? I must have done something though! Maybe I pinched a wire somewhere a long the line? Ok someone witha ZX needs to do me a favor......under the drivers side kickpanel(below the steering column) there is the "intermitant wiper amplifier" there is 2 blue wires that come off the harness but they dont seem to go anywhere? Can someone tell me if they are connected to anything? So how should I go about finding the short? I had all the connectors for the wipers unplugged but it still blew the fuse! Thanks! Guy

So how much better is the 280ZX frame than the 280Z? I am putting in a triagulated strut bar in front and I have a 4 point rollbar in the back. Is that enough? I was thinking subframe connectors but now you guys have me thinking that this is enough(for the 400HP@flywheel that I have)??? Guy

Then hit the Img button up on top of the "post screen" Then put in the link where the picture is located(I copy and paste that into the message)..... Then hit Imgagain....
