It's looking like the L24 in my car will soon need to be rebuilt, to minimize downtime I'm looking for an L24 short block that's in good shape or has been rebuilt. I realize an L28 would give a little more oomph but I would like to stick with a 2.4 motor. I'm not really looking for all out performance, reliability and cleanliness are much more important to me. Looking to go back to stock seats and want to keep my car's interior color the same, which is red. I know this is probably a long shot, but I'm wondering if anyone has a decent set of red 240z seats they don't want anymore. I'm located in the SF Bay Area, let me know what you have. Thanks

If he's trying to fit 15x9 wheels on a car without fender flares then I think it's safe to assume that he's planning on dealing with some rubbing. I rub when I go up very steep driveways and that's about it.

Depends on the tire really. I have 15x9 -15s front and rear with 205/50s, fits with very little rubbing.

You can fit a 15x8 with 225/50s with a +0 offset. If you had the +10 you would need a moderate spacer, something like 8mm perhaps. To be safe though you should roll your fenders.

I had those on my car, I'll look for pictures. I had 225/50s on and had very little trouble with rubbing. Hub is 73mm.

Thanks John, that was my concern. I'm on the lookout for replacement housings but I'm having trouble.

I thought I got a really great deal on a late 280zx FS5W71B over the weekend, but it turns out the rear casing is dented AND cracked. I might try and hunt down a replacement case, but I thought I'd ask people much much smarter than me if this damage is repairable. It looks like the trans must have fallen on a hard surface, denting the rear seal area and cracking it as well. Here are some photos of the damage: Thanks for any advice.

I believe those are Japanese (or euro) market front turn signals which have two separate housings, one clear and one amber. I looked briefly for a set, all I can say is good luck and be prepared to spend quite a lot.

That muffler looks like it could be a Fujitsubo, not sure I dig the spoiler, but the rest of the car is spot on. Very nice.

The wheel is just offset, I was kind of bummed about that, but the width is great.

Finally running the wheel and tire size I've been wanting to: Grid V 15x9 -15 all around on 205/50 Falken 615Ks. I only have a few shots of fitment, I can take better shots of the whole car if you guys want to see it.

There is a gaping hole in my center console from where the radio used to be. I originally had plans for the space (gauges) but now I'm looking for a more original look. I'm hoping someone here has an original radio, from a '73 would be ideal, but I'll look at others. I don't mind if it doesn't work, in fact I'd feel bad if it did because it will not be used. I have removed all speakers from the car and do not have any plans for audio. I really just want one that is in good physical condition. PM me if you have anything. Thanks for looking.
