  1. Im looking for a clean set of clear turn signals from a JDM S30. If you have a set please PM me more details. Thank you.
  2. Great news, I was a little worried there haha...
  3. Awesome shirt, I have the red one and love it, but the cars look really great against black/dark grey. Really hope you get the orders needed, good luck.
  4. I'm not affiliated with these guys at all, and wasn't sure if this belongs in group buys, but if you want one of the Gearhead Z generations shirts you better act quick. They need to sell more preorders in order to print these shirts, $15.00 is a steal if you ask me... http://gearheadshirts.us4.list-manage.com/track/click?u=8efef6071c6b8fabac820d4ed&id=3969451240&e=3b5135bc87
  5. Your son's car looks great. I wonder what his thoughts on Rota Grid Vs would be. They come in 15x7, 15x8 or 16x8. They are cheaper and honestly really work on S30s. I had a set of RBs for years, but wish I had Vs since day one. Check out: http://18racing.com/wheel_grid_v.html They look to be readily available too. Just a thought.
  6. Awesome, I'll give him a call Monday. I appreciate the info.
  7. I just moved out here from Baltimore and as I am typing this my car is being transported to join me. I have a new ansa tailpipe but it will require some fabrication to install. Can anyone recommend a good, dependable shop in the area? I'm not a high roller so I probably can't afford Z car garage, though I may give them a call. If anyone in the area is handy with a welder, perhaps we could work out a deal..?
  8. I actually picked one up a while ago, just didn't update this thread. They're out there, just keep looking and asking here. They aren't cheap...JDM parts have broken me, financially.
  9. It's got chip guard, but I've got extra bad luck.
  10. I just spent 4k on new paint. I don't want to expose it to 3000 miles already. That was nearly every penny I have, I'd like to keep it nice for a little while. Guess I could painter's tape the hell out of it...
  11. I did the drive a month ago, I'm not sure I could handle it again, at least so soon haha. I couldn't handle the damage done to the car either...
  12. Thanks, I'll give them a call later today. Has anyone heard of rock bottom auto transport? I've done some reading on them and they seem alright, they had a pretty good price compared to most others.
  13. Having recently moved from Baltimore to San Jose CA, I am really starting to miss my Z. I have looked around for a good, reliable, no scams company to move the car but thought I would ask for some opinions. I can't afford an enclosed carrier, does one here have a recommendation? Thanks.
  14. Very nice choice, CCWs are incredible wheels. Can't wait to see the car finished, any shots from behind to see wheel fitment?
  15. I believe I have found a set from a local, I appreciate the offer though.
  16. Hello, I am in need of a complete TS assembly for my '73 240z, one of the tabs has been broken on my stock unit. I am located in San Jose but can meet someone within a reasonable distance. Thanks.
  17. I got mine from a member here, I'm sure someone has a set. I'm sure you know this, but they are pricey...
  18. Nearly done installing my LED converted JDM tails on my S30, they look incredible in person. I'll post some shots after I reassemble it all.
  19. Nice, I just signed it, then emailed it to anyone I could think of.
  20. Thanks for setting this up, I just joined.
  21. That "zombie" Z has prescence, there's no denying that, but what bugs me is the overall lack of respect shown for the car and for anyone who doesn't think it's great (only because it's soooo low). I like low cars, I like really low cars but I'm sorry, the attention to detail on that thing is lacking. I doubt the owner cares, but this strange defiance "younger" guys have is weird, straight up. I'm a younger Z owner myself, but I can't get down with the attitude towards any style that isn't yours. It's great to see people loving their cars though and it seems to me the world has enough arguing on more "important" matters haha...
  22. I'll be moving there in a few weeks, count me in for anything you guys come up with. I gotta get my Z out there right away.
  23. Spitz17, I think I've run into your wordpress/tumblr (can't remember) and am INSANELY jealous of your setup haha. I mean, sleep losingly jealous haha. I will hit you up as soon as I get situated, thanks for the posts guys.
  24. I'll be working for Apple, at the Valley Fair mall...it's not the big leagues haha I found this one awesome small road in Ben Lomend, you basically drive up to this little camping site and take this road that's not much larger than a golf course path. It's super curvy and has nice views along the way, pretty short drive but very fun. Baltimore has some of the worst roads ever. This past winter, there were dozens of main stretches that had at least 6 inch deep holes, for months. Then, when they finally fixed the holes, they did such a bad job that within another week the hole was worse than before... it was comical.
  25. I finally landed a job in California, a place I have wanted to move for the past 4 years. I'll be in the San Jose area, a little south of San Francisco. I have visited the area a bunch of times, found some really awesome roads near a town called Ben Lomend and went to the Z car garage, but I would love any suggestions you locals can recommend in terms of nice roads and meet ups. On a side note, anyone have a recommended car transport company? I am driving my Cooper S out, but want my Z as soon as financially possible. I hear there is a cars and coffee meet Saturday mornings at Santana Row, just curious if any Z guys drive out there ever. I am looking forward to the change in scenery immensely, I'm sure I'll see some fellow HybridZers around. Here is a recent photo of my Z:
