I was thinking 250ish but I dont know, I will keep you posted.
I will have a better idea when it is done, most beople bump up to 3" after the down pipe so it might be tight, but I have some people here in the city with the swap done so... we will see if it fits.
I think it will flow nicer if the two first bends were 3"
I might be making 3" 304 SS down pipes for the L28ET swap, might have some photos next week.
This down pipe would come off the 1/2" flange at 2.5 then murge up to 3" before the two 45deg bends.
Quite at low RPM's and when you get on it in the high RPM's people know what it up. And then the HKS BOV sounds off and that also tells them whats up.
I have never had the RB hooked up to some thing else, so I can not say if it change the tone much.
I use an sds with a MAP so I dont think it uses the TPS too much. Just to sence load... I think.
And yeah I think I can hear my tires cry'n from in side my house, poor bastards
O.k. before you make fun of me, when I first installed my throttle cable…. I got a person to floor the gas pedal and I grabbed the throttle body(s) pulley to see it was also maxed out. and it was.
So now here I am 2-3 weeks later XXXhours on the dyno, wondering why my car is not putting out 390-400HP @ the wheels, only 348…. Now I recheck the throttle pulley. Get my girl friend to floor it and guess what I could turn it another 10-15 percent!!
So I adjusted it.
Now I think this is a big deal what do you think??
Would it make a big HP jump after?
Still have to take it for a spin
http://www.turbohoses.com talk to Hoover he has a high power L28
He can also help with the pipe for the intercooler I bet
What kind of intercooler did you get? NRP??
Fuel lines, -6 should feed your motor fine. use your stock feed line as a return to the tank.
hey, I dont know, Did you try your other set??
If you do a search for Nissan on buysell.com there is a "81 NISSAN 280ZX turbo, exc pts car, everything intact $500 obo. Beausejour"
Not that you need any more ZX's
Ah this is greats guys thanks. I am having the same problem 2.19sec 60 foot time on 225/45R17 BFG G-force Drag Radials. That are now toast in two weeks. boost = too much fun.
So if my 14â€x7†ZX rims fit over my 240SX rear brakes I will try and stuff a 24.5 to 26 x 8 to 9.5 inch slick under my stock fender car, I do have coil overs so that should help make some room.
Thanks for all the tips so far
What kind of tires do you use at the track?
I am thinking of getting some slicks for the track.
This post sums up my first day at the track....
