  1. Try a R200 LSD with some ZXT CV shafts, you might be happy with that set up. Then if that dose not do it, then start cutting up your car to fit a 9". What kind of tires are you going to run?
  2. I was going to call you last night, but I found out that my clutch master cyl rod was bent, so I did not go out
  3. Laser cut and yes I do have a CAD file for it. I can send it to you tuesday from work if you like?
  4. No, 280ZXT CV's installed with Ross C kit.
  5. I used some trunk poper kits with a bikr cable tube to run the cable in. Welded the bracket to were the old door handle pocket is. Not a ton of room in the doors, for this setup. And the new weather stripping pops the door open just fine.
  6. A 9" is a ford diff that a lot of racers use because it is strong, you can pull the 3rd member out so it is easy / fast to work on and there is a lot of ratios to pick from
  7. Oops no carpet you can see my 2x3" box tube frame connectors
  8. Here is on of the inside seats not in yet also a mess of wires that needs to be fixed up.
  9. You can fit a cell if you cut out the old spare tire well, I like the stock look of the rear end
  10. I'm thinking of getting some custom CCW wheels, and puting my old rims on the GF's Civic. Well for cost I would say.. 4000-6000$ for the RB and RWD transmission clutch and oil pan 100-600$ for mounts you can make or buy them. 300-1000$ for an intercooler 300-1000$ for full exhaust 150-350$ for a good fuel pump 100-200$ for intercooler plumbing 100-300$ for a BOV 0-3000+$ on a ECU, you can run stock but remember the stock car has CAT’s and is tuned to run on high octane Japan fuel. 10-60$ throttle cable 200-500$ an a nice rad, RB26 run hot. 60-200$ Fuel tank upgrade/mod to feed the thing 100-1000$ for gauges to watch what the motor Is doing 200-300$ for a custom drive shaft or one from a GTS skyline +++ all the other things that add up, rad hose, clamps, hose, wire, clips, steel, filters, And then you end up with a car that now needs brake mods, frame/rollbar mods, suspention mods, rear end mods….. You need all of this to be safe. I have not installed my Momo RS2 GT seats yet, and the old seats feel unsave they don’t hold you in. It sounds funny but the stock seats just don’t feel right in that fast of a car. It is hard to put a number on it because you have so many options, are you good at custom fabrication? Because that will save you a lot. And you can get a used/ cheaper parts or you can go all out, I have a mix on my car some cheaper parts like a stock modified fuel tank and some top end parts like a 700HP EFI aeromotive fuel pump…..

  13. "Why that particular motor, as opposed to the turbo L28, sbc, or Det series? " Twin turbo...... 8000RPM redline....... the bottom end handle 600HP stock. "What kind of power does it have stock, as opposed to potential? " 300hp or so mine put down 334@ the wheels (that is low some more tuning and I should get 40-50HP more). Stony puts down over 390@ the wheels. "Cost? " I would say 10K to do it right "You mentioned 2475 lbs (I think) any idea what your curb weight was originally, or how this install affected front to rear weight distro? " dont know, sorry "Finished product aside, would you do this conversion again, or would the various headaches and deadends serious enough to warrant going a different route?" I would do it again Would be easy this time around... "The only thing I know for certain is that all of my cars have to be capable of being driven daily... " No problem, if my right foot was not so fat I bet it would be good on gas too, Only a 2.6L
  14. Oh and here is the motor. Took it to a truck scale and it was 2475LBS, Dont know if this is right?
  15. Man is this thing fun, Thanks for all the help from this forum. Without HybridZ I dont think I would of been able to do this. Going to the track Saturday...
  16. I have never done a burn out with this set of tires and look at the poor things Thanks for the info.
  17. "machine the struts for even bigger bearing and have some custom big chromoly stub shafts made" I was thinking the same thing Stony, If I have problems...Going to the track this weekend. What do you do to get your Drag Radials ready? Burn out? PSI? Thanks
  18. I run a 4:11 R200 from an 85 200SX Turbo in my Rb26 powered 240Z.
  19. I might but I dont know, I will have to talk to my but with the welding shop. Will keep you posted, Thanks
  20. He is on HybridZ http://www.hybridz.org/phpBB2/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=4397 I dont know what size he has.
  21. That is the thing we did tune it a bit on the dyno, but my altenator is not giving the fuel pump what it wants. So we tuned it a bit rich untill I get that problem solved. The car hauls A$$ but I was thinking I should get more power on the dyno. What A/F did you tune to on the wide band 11 to 1?? "got any scans of the runs??" I will see If I can get them from the shop I might be at the track next weekend
  22. Oh no, solid rear? and what trans are you going to run?? If I did not have an O.S clutch I would get that HKS one from you. I only made 334@ the wheels @13-14 PSI I was looking for more... Good luck with your drivetrain plans.
