  1. Hey James, Couple questions. 1. Obviously the kit for a Z will require you to make a different tranny xmember, adaptor and driveshaft. when will you be mocking all this up in a z? 2. As far as i understand it the TT tranny's are the same as the NA's, the only difference is the starter postion on the bellhousing is lower on the TT bells. which are you making the adaptor for? 3. Once you make the kit will it be available from then on? Since I started this thread it seems that there have been easily a dozen people that would be interested. Thanks again for the effort!

  3. Looks good Gabe . . . looking forward to the finished product.
  4. well i've never had any issues with torque in my turbo motor. When i was still running the stock electronics, stock t3, etc. i ran 15psi everyday with 370cc injectors and it made 274hp and 326ft lbs torque. And the t3 is very peaky/torquey, so i was getting full 15psi by like 3000-3100rpms.
  5. Same scenario. My car is untuned and 8-9psi. My buddy has a 2nd Gen eclipse with a big 16g, 20psi, 272 cams, AFC, FMIC, etc. went from 2 digs and 3 rolls. Same thing every time, I would jump out by two cars (yeah torque!) then it was dead even. I couldnt pull away and he couldnt catch up. He was pissed i had to show him my peak hold boost gauge . . . see only 9 psi! HAHA
  6. well i went to the track a few days ago. My car is having some serious fueling issues and on street tires. I was only able to run 10psi, but the car still went 12.90. Anyways im headed over to my buddies house and this older guy in a brand new Audi S4 wants a piece. I had the boost controller turned off, so like 8psi or so. we went all the way through 4th and i had a fender on him. we pulled onto the interstate, and i flicked the boost up 2-3 psi and we went again. This time i put a few cars on him, but he was crazy. i let out after i got into 5th. This guy looked like he ran it all the way out. i didnt see him after that he was going so fast. haha. i know id be embarrased.
  7. Wow Vinny, very cool. I like that alot. I managed to stuff a 60-1 compressor wheel into a T04b housing so no need to space it . . .

  9. Bwahahahaha . . . Mike this particular manifold belonged to Mr. J Taylor . . . just modified for external gate. Then Ivan ported it. I have had two other manifolds on my car that were ported. I did one personally, i just never had either modded for external gates.
  10. well, I have been in the process of updating some things on the Z. I upgraded the exhuast wheel on the turbo and promptly lost control of how much boost I was making! My wastegate setup was too small and restrictive coming of the turbine housing. So i decided to get a different external setup and have my good buddy Ivan do some port work on the new Exhaust manifold. New wastegate is a Turbonetics Deltagate. Hopefully its big enough, but if not the deltagate uses the same 2-bolt flange as the bigger Tials, so that should be no big deal. Anyways Old wastegate setup was off the turbine housing, and the New setup is off the manifold, so this should free up some flow. Here's some pics of the new stuff. Old Manifold on top. Ported Manifold on bottom. Runner one Where it matters! Turbo flange, Cyl #1-4 all collect here. Old wastegate setup New Wastegate setup I'll prolly have this stuff coated before I throw it on. Finally I can run some controlled boost through this thing!!

  16. Good deal man, She asked me if I wanted to buy the car about 2 weeks ago. I almost did, but couldnt justify it. Even though she told me $550, just couldnt do it at the moment. gonna keep the sweet plywood sunroof? haha
  17. I actually went down to the driveshaft shop today and got a quote. for a completely new driveshaft with all new spicer components, rated to 860 ft lbs torque. $250
