  1. Almost done. added windage tray and leak tested. I have one leak to fix and its done... just have to let it dry so I can fix the leak.. Tanuki your's is next.
  2. the baffle is done. Here are some pics
  3. It should not matter. My pans are not really that deep.
  4. The engine sets in the engine bay at a slant. The exhaust side sets lower than the intake side in turn making the engine set at a slant. So the oil will naturally drain back into the pan.the bottom of the pan sits at a slope. One side of the pan is lower than the other. I can get more pics later. Let me know if you have anymore questions thanks Patrick
  5. I like to keep my costumers happy:mrgreen: I think I have 1 more but I'm taking orders:mrgreen:
  6. I would be very embarassed if I forgot the drain plug. the pickup is done, I was on a roll today
  7. I have about 6-8 hours into it now but my brother was over and there was alot of BSing going on and some beer drinking. I have built a couple of these so far and I have made templates of each sheetmetal cuts. My first one took me forever to do. Now it's getting easy. I have all the sheetmetal tools to make life easier. I love my plasma cutter,it's like a hot knife through butter.
  8. thanks, It's been fun I was out looking at it and I almost forgot the drain plug. LOL That would suck
  9. I just wanted to share the oil pan I built for linluv84 today. It came out great and I'm almost done. The only thing left to do is to install the hinges for the baffles.Man I'm tired LOL here are some pics of the build
  10. I have a inline walbro pump on mine. Works perfect, I had to put a nismo fpr to get the psi down from 55 at idle to 36. Those Bosch 044 pumps are pricy.
  11. I did a little research and it looks like the oil pan off the rb20/25 will bolt up to a rb30. please let me know if you are interested
  12. I made my first oil pan flange last night so I don't need the old oil pan. I'm going to start building a oil pan for a rear wheel drive block so if anybody needs one just let me know.
  13. I just looked at the mckinney mounts. That would be a piece of cake to build if I had a template to work off of.
  14. I can build motor mounts. That won't be a problem but I would need a wood template that I could copy over to steel.
  15. I charge 400.00 for the rear wheel drive block and 500.00 for the all wheel drive block. The all wheel drive blocks come with a aluminum pan and the pickup is in a different place. I will need your old steel oil pan and pick up. I cut up the old pan and I only use the flange to keep the price down. I am working on trying to fab up my own flange but it's hard to keep the price down. for the prices above it includes the following -- custom steel rear sump oil pan with a trap door baffles -- a modified pick up to work in the rear sump pan -- a tube of sealant to seal the pan to the block This sealant is the best sealant I have ever used I have been working on cars for the last 16+ years for a living and this is the best stuff I have ever used. I will supply pictures of all the work as I did in on the thread above My turn around time is about 7-10 days usually faster depending if the wife and kids leave me alone:mrgreen:. I guess it all depends how fast you need it. I could get the rwd pan done in a couple days this is all you will need for the oil pan stuff If you have any questions please let me know
  16. that's the ft sump pan your motor will come with that one. I would be happy to build you a pan. see my link http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=155153 let me know
  17. I have a t3 off a rb20det for sale 125.00 shipped
  18. that's a hell of a deal
  19. I thought the pan was desirable item so I thought I could make a little money on the side and I could help out some people on this forum.I remember getting my rb swap together and trying to find a pan was the biggest pita so I built my own. I have all the welding equipment(tig, mig and plazma cutter and etc) I know if it was a major pita for me I'm sure it is a pain for other people. See my post. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=155153 I went out and bought enough sheet metal and all the welding supplies to do several pans. So far I have built 1 pan which came out great. But I have not sold anymore. I have had tons of pm's asking about the price and etc. My prices are 400.00 for the rwd block and 500.00 for the awd block. Maybe my prices are to high but it takes 10-12 hours to make one. And I alot of materials in the pan. I guess if you can make them for less than that you could sell alot but so far It has not been worth it. I would like to build more because I really like doing this kind of metal fab.
  20. Looking to buy a few rb20/25 front sump oil pans and pick ups. Let me know what you have. Paypal ready thanks Patrick
  21. I can build you a oil pan if you like. I built one for rklamb123 a few weeks ago. Check out the post. The post has pictures of the entire process. http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=155153
