  1. You can consider you self a pro jackstand racer with this set of jackstands. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=2483001678&category=42606
  2. Good deal, where was the car located. I would love to have an R30 skyline. You should be in the 10's now I would think, your still using the auto trans right? Very good setup, and very nice car keep up the good work.
  3. Awesome! Did you buy the motor from a guy that had it in the older skyline or did you buy the whole car for the motor.
  4. The last car he raced was a last gen RX-7. But jesus that supra flies!
  5. Isnt weird how when you have a Z you search ebay every day looking for something new everyday. Today I found some watanabe rs-8s for 400bucks 16x7s.
  6. comes with the performance motor two, that yellow valve cover gives it 150 hp more. I dont understand what a "fairlady kit" is anyhow, but by the looks of it has something to do with lots of bondo.
  7. aka bondo bucket what a p.o.s, bet all that bondo adds alot of weight. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=2482709910&category=39405
  8. yes the second one is a true scarab car. You can tell it has the carroll shelby magnesium rims. This was an option you could get on the cars when you sent them to scarab, along with widebody kits, targa tops, and suspension upgrades. I looked at a scarab here in the area it was a widebody with koni adjustable shocks, carroll shelby rims, a balance and blueprinted 327 with a borg warner t-10, and high perf. clutch. Had recaro seats, and a plaque on the dash, also had an emblem where the stock z emblems goes that had a scarab beetle on it. It also said scarab on the lower front fenders. The car also had functional hood scoops that fed into the intake. Very interesting car, I would like to talk the guy down on price, he wanted 10k plus a 2000 lincoln ls in trade . John
  9. Id go with the rx-8 too, soo much fun to run a car to 9k. But Id say the suby is more reliable than the rx but who really cares when your not gonna be keeping the car for ever and putting more than 100k on the odo.
  10. All right man I'll give you a call tuesday and we can get together. John
  11. I'm not to far behind ya Mat. I pulled my wiring harness today and I'm gonna get the hoist out of the warehouse tomorrow and pull the motor .
  12. I have a throttle body off a 93 altima with the twin cam ka24. It looks similar to some pictures I've seen of the 240sx ones but it looks like the coolant lines going to it are on the opposite side of the 240sx (on bottom instead of on top), anyone know if they work just as well? Thanks, John
  13. Check out this classic 900, made by the factory to be a real beast http://www.autospeed.com/cms/A_0019/article.html and one of my favorite saabs, the 9000 aero, my father has one of these pretty quick car, but it has to much power for the front wheels to handle. http://www.kyankton.net/9000index.htm Just thought I'd share another of my interests John
  14. Very nice looking, your making me want to do my valve cover and intake manifold in wrinkle black now. John
  15. I agree, you should keep the engine bay the color of the car, but make your car the way you want it like you told me. Anyhow I still havent started on my swap yet. All my body work is done though hopefully the swap will start soon its been getting pushed back every time i get close. Anyhow hope it all goes well. John
  16. Thing is insane, and it pulls so fast. It scared the shit out of people who drive fast cars for a living. Now if I could only put that motor in a z .
