Those cowl hood vents are awesome. I use a set on my DD. I knew that they had them in CF but I don't remember where I had seen them. Darn I wish I had known... Anyhow here is my bargain vent cover fabbed from a scrap of perforated steel for a hood that I got for free... Price; free for part, and 2.00 for mounting hardware. It's not stainless so I am gonna shoot it with some clearcoat. Now I have a "custom hood":mrgreen:!! Cellphone picture is all I have at this time, sorry...

As a seller, I don't think that there is anything wrong with trying to get top dollar for a product that is rare/ intrinsically valuable. As a buyer, I also don't think that there is anything wrong with trying to get the best value for my dollar. As a seller I have learned that the best place on the Internet to sell is on Ebay because that is where the serious buyers are and it is a more professional format. As a buyer I have bought a few things via this site because I needed them at that moment and asked. There was no great price break, nor did I expect one. It was just business. I have asked for advice on this site and I have given advice on this site. There has never been any strings attached to either because help with conditions attached isn't really help is it? This is a good site and there is a wealth of knowledge available here. It is in my best interests to not get my knickers in a twist over something as mundane as buying and selling...

Bass bucket in the spare tire well is a no-brainer! I have a single 12" sub driven by a 2 ohm 1000 watt amp. Filling the empty space in the enclosure with rock wool also is a next to nothing sound enhancement technique!

My emblems are not nice. They are average.

I have the emblems and a rear inner hatch weatherstrip if you need that.

I bought lower doorskin repair panels from MSA years ago when the bottom of my doors rusted out and I was ready to repair them. The body shop I brought them to said they did not want anything to do with them because welding the thin metal causes warps and is a pain in the butt to get right. He said it was easier to just find used doors and rust proof them the right way before I mounted them and that is just what I did. By the looks of the prices of those skins, I saves alot of money as well.

Why, do you have a larger head than most of us?

I got a grille, 2 actually. There is some paint on both which will clean up. I had the turn signals but tossed them 'cause I did not think I'd need them. They are both very straight. I'm not sure I really need a 240 grille, I'll sell you one of these outright for cheap. Shipping should not be too bad as I am in 93004. Make me an offer...

I finally knuckled down and did it, removing all that dead weight of machinery, decayed hose, dried leaves and dust, lots of dust and... ...there's alot of space under there now. I jammed up in there my 12" bass tube which was previously in the passenger foot rest area and... ...PHENOMENAL acoustics under that empty dash. Holy cow!

Another idea I had was to mount the same size speakers from the ceiling on a strip of wood running between the seats from front to back. Back in the day there was a company which made a "roof console" that had lights and other bells and whistles made to be mounted from the ceiling of an s-30 in the same spot. There's more than enough room there, it would be interesting to see done...
