I am going to really investigate the car and see what all damage I have.

Yeah I will have to check that out.. If I do go ahead and get this 240Z that has no rust on it.. I am pretty sure it will never see rain.

Well guys, My Z chasis has well over 300K miles on it. I know the past owner very well and he is in my Z club. He knows the past owner very well too.. It would be sad to see her go.. BUT,tonight I started doing some work on her.. getting her ready to take the motor out. I took the battery out and man I almost puked. I knew I had some rust under the battery tray but this just made me sick. a hole large enough I could stick my foot in. Even rust on teh firewall. Just got me thinking. Do I spend thousands of dollars trying to get rid of all the rust just to have it haunt me after Im done? I already know I need 2 rockers, a door skin, passenger rear quarter, the back of the car needs some attention and I havent even seen under the carpet.. (I am too scared too)..... I have had this Z for over 4 years.. It will be really hard to strip her to the shell but if I put all of my parts in a rust free body I think it would be totally worth it. Soo.. soon I might be a parting fool. Money is very tight and would have to get every bit of money I could out of her.

Do you holset guys find the turbo pretty laggy? first boost up and during shifts? at what RPM are you getting say 15psi of boost? I have started researching turbo's for when it is time for me to upgrade mine.. I really like how I get 15psi in my stock T3 by 25-2800rpms. and during shifts.. it boosts back up very quick.. Lets hear some Holset Data..

Stock suspension? why would you keep stock suspension? just like having a unstable car at speed I guess? I know James thagard ran mid 10s in his L powered Z , stock rear end.. and Garrett Maddox ran a 11.2 in his L... So yeah.. lets see some slips or vids..

This was really neat to see. thanks for the heads up warren and the call.. LOL the dragster had a WHOLE second to run the 1/4.. after the first second it shut down.. heh.. still ran a 11.6@88mph.. the G6 ran a 16.3@ like 88mph..

Great Deal Joel, Yeah I have known about the tarus fans for quite a few years. I had one on my 280ZX.. it just barley fit on the ZX with some trimming of the fan. I couldnt get one to fit in the S30 either. I bought the Zirgo and it will be combined with a aluminum rad.. Should work out great.. Thanks guys.

Scott, that looks amaizing!! Can you take a couple of pics from the front looking into it? I have started working on mine, Dont know how far I am going to take it yet.. but I know I am starting off connecting the airdam to the Rad support.
