  2. Well the engine is in the 2+2 is now a Turbo, the intermediates are on ( ralleyslicks) and i trailfitted my IC in the project.. ( i needede to relocate the outlet/inlet on the IC) Fitted the dieselintake and brainstormed how to use it and where to ad the injectors. im looking into using my 67MM TB and placing the injectors 'hilborn' like in the camber facing the runner The intake seems smaller than i thought! Other angle ... Header plates came in so i can start fabbing to move the turbo on my project forward and down ( so i can have a virtual straight DP) Also compared the Copper HG for the project with some brands (it is custom, meaning someone fabbed it up for a race engine and was succesfull with it in 2 class victorys) One intresting gadget The Euro LD28 ( and maybe the US have too) use a Heat exhanger on the oilfilter adapter .. this could be really handy in a race set up i take.. I never saw it before ( but then agian i never really looked into diesel before, nor ecountered them) In the next week i have some loose ends to connect and i have to mount a 3" DP ... ill keep you informed! NOTHING BETTER THAN FIRST FIRE UP of a fresh dropped engine

  5. The 2+2 with the turbo swapped and the intermediates under there !
  6. Im planning on welding in the injectors at the end of the runnurs in the chamber... wondering what will happen with longer runners on a turbo ... or should i use it on my NA ?
  7. Intresting this set up has an engine oil heat exhanger.. It would make it possible to run two filters ( it basically is a twin adapterplat) but it has a heat (water to oil) exhanger.. nevr knew that
  8. not planning on more then ten for this set up.. i have my other car to go in 'extremes' ( saying that is knowing extreme is relative here )
  9. i actually would rather have real Mpower over an sr20.. they sr20 is great but it is not an S14 by a mile ( s14 is m3 engine code for teh 4 banger!) or the newer M's .... how about an M powered or RS powered Z
  10. For my 2+2 i dropped in a turbo engine as the HC combo spun a bearing and i want to go stroker on that ( but than needs cash so time!) So nothing fancy on the turbo, but MsS will be installed, and probably a worked e88 head to raise the CR a bit.. I did not have time for a IC mock up as the car needs to be track ready in two weeks. so i decided to go this route.. agian the car does not need to be a flying machine, and i dont want to put all my time in this, as i have my coupe project I need to grind of the stock jpipes connection as i plasma cut it off (diffrent intake (euro zx intake NT with a 53mm TB) it will also have 3" DP ill shoot a pic of anyway ill be hishing along I love welding !!!

These are light and ' cheap' ( second cheapest in teh sparco line) seats that in my opinion fit a z's period in time good (not to modern) however they are a great tight fit ! i git rails with them so i can use the drivers seat in my other car to when go to a track day .. it gives so much more feedback! the belts are 3" simpsons, i have two sets that will go in zxt project
  12. This is for my 2+2 it is fairly stock and as the car has a track day to meet in a week, it needs to run ... and piping up an IC is to much for now ( plus i want to spend more time on my all out project!)
  13. The r34 GTS lights are fairly easy, BUT IMHO would look off place in a s30 (not s130) I would look at some r32 or r34.. Actually to go in true Hybrid spirit ... whatever floats your boat can be fit in with some skill and a visionary view
  14. why not you have to make a plate in the shape of the OEM lights ( the r32 would allmost fit in that the cover plate would have to be <1" bigger ) I thought of that too but i wanted to smoothen it in .. more like the modenas
  15. That to me sounds liek a load of BS ( 260's have a system that i envision by your story, but 700!!! ) I have a set of callipers in Holand for you for 40 each ! I call scam
  16. The r32 lights fitted, the flares are not yet fitted
  17. I can tell you from experiance.. it is not an easy fit, you have to think it over at test fit before you cut, but it is rewarding! The problem is that a r32 and r32 tail is slightly rounded, making what you see in the picture being the OEM left tail sitting on the right! and vise versa I was planning on going for r33 lights to, but the indicator and back up lights are bent aswel so you need to either cut them or figures somthing else out i would go with the r32 lights and they can look real good in a s30 ( IMHO) for people that dont have classic zcar account here is one pic of this fine car !
  18. Problem with ZGS is that they require cutting, now ona already rusted lip who cares !! but here ... It is a nice looking ride for sure !
