Insurance is not an option on snail mail .. why would you lie ? i dont know might have gotten lost somewhere so you are not(witch i assume) .. or you just figure you need one more .. anyhow i offered the deal the faster more expensive shipping DOES offer insurance. The tracking numbers are only useful upto the border and in Dutch ..
-
Like said i already send Two (three in total).. Actually i was planning on shipping a Fourth.. but haven't gotten around of dropping it at postal office as these close at 5 and i work till at least 7 mostly. It is just awkward that of three two get lost! it would not be an item customs would pick out i would think ( like TonyD's Pump) I will offer half half on shipping .. ill send it .. you receive it and rebate half the shipping cost .. we will go insured.. witch means it will boil down closer $100. grand total (yes shipping prizes are outrageous from here to there) Im already loosing parts and cash on this 'deal' as we speak. And yes it bothers me..I dont like these situations any better than anyone! And no it does not necessarily needs to be him .. but loads of things can go wrong ( hence the garbage!) And i cant be held responsible for that when there is no insurance. And that is the last thing i would like to post on forum on this matter. Just let me know on the email addy provided.
-
Well we have been talking .. but it lead nowhere .. given that. I can see it pisses you off, but then again the forum does not have the whole story, this is why i do not plan on discussing anything here, i just send him my email addy i check mostly .. the other seems to get more spam every day. I have nothing to hide. As the shipments where not insured .. and i think he did get them .. i don't think i owe anything.

Well that thread on zcar was also by mr 70z.. I have Sent him two manifolds over the last year orso .. both i can track most of the way ( upto the US border).. both where received by customs ( according to tracking that is).. Given the first one was shipped back and had to be resend. I just dont trust you haven't gotten them anyhow.. It is either that .. or you need to stand guard at your mailbox!! I know stuff gets lost .. i have had it happen a couple of times! And twice my shipments within the US got delivered in the garbage can !!! luckily my friend found them in time. Anyhow these are uninsured mailings .. so there is always i risk .. And yes i have another one packed to go but your blasphemy campaign and lack of time when shops are open ( they arent as nicely opened as US shops!).. have hold me back .. Im sure this one will get 'lost' as well .. and im not planning to pay another shipment given it is only $50. I would be willing to send again when we both pitch in ..but im very doubtful two get lost.. It is easy to pin it on the guy sending .. however i'm sure they reached US soil! ( yes two!! ) Further I'm not planning on holding an on forum debate about who is right or wrong .. And no im not using the PM function here allot And I'm not amused by you.

The ' MJP' part does lack figment .. but i would say it is more or less the same quality as most MSA kits ( the mounting points however are worse on the 'MJP' Kits like this will always need some fiddling and body work to work out well.. but for the prize it will cost you to buy one and ship em .. and get em on the car i would say it is a lousy investment! Apart from that it extends the front of the car out farther from the center of the wheel .. so i hope you don't plan on speed bumps or trailering the car anywhere

well i have a feeling ill lay eyes on one in the near future! and i know another person here that will haha Anyhow yes there are numerous differences from small ones like pre-drilled holes ( or the lack of them) for fuse boxes .. to the height of the frame rails or rockers ( whatever you call them) .. Haha ALAN is teaching you proper English with bonnets and wings LOL However i disagree on one thing .. and those would be the 'strengthening ribs' Main purpose of ribs in mainly to prevent vibration.... but that would be discussing about nothing .. i only had one of those plates in my hands once did not even know what it was until some years back .. ooh well But BRE orange or 918 orange (whats in a name) would be my second pic .. As you seemed to refer more to a paint scheme than tech specs. that color scheme black hood .. would combine nice with lime green in my opinion! However My opinion is that yes .. in a sense of nostalgia these cars where THE thing .. But with modern techniques a good shop could built a far superior Z to race! It boils down to the purist on one side and the and the non purist on the other end .

My car is home... Pics are up on yahoo...

Looking extremely sharp.. like the color!! -
Yes it is welded to the tower on 3mm plate, not bolted in., Ill have to see if i can paint today ill shoot a pic .. it will either be black, or gunmetal ( i think it will be black as i have nice 2k paint that wont flake as easy from banging stuff to the bar, or movement of the harness.

haha well i still toy with a super turbo idea... it will have some sort of forged induction and Ms(hopefully spark at that point too) next to that i want a handling car .. so suspension mods and brake upgrades for track use would be more important that the rawest power at first ( reading this it all of a sudden makes sense to only go dragging budget wise) Anyhow looking forward for some good times. Anyhow feel welcome to drop by. We euro guys need to stick together to come up with ways to find our stuff.

haha well ill be meeting you with this in Drachten that is the pan get some 1/4 times in .. cant hurt to drive a straight line every now and then haha

Thanks! its 55 mm tubing that is 2,5 mm think (chromoly) it was professionally bent by a friend who is a cage builder so to speak, and i do think that is half the quality, next to that i have paid attention to them building cage in pro cars, and looked at what my friend xander did to get around the pro tools we lack compared to our friends shop. Lots to do before im done though. details and structural ( diff suspension exhaust) but im enjoying that i can finally start installing my collected goodies!! BTW the welds aren't brushed cleaned yet, i will see if i get to painting it tommorow

Well they speak for themselfs .. it wasn't the best weather for good pics.. and well the time was short lots to do enjoy, please feel free to comment Nice with shadow of me in it and random interior parts slinging around in the car Side of the car, wing still has to be installed, the 280zx logos still held in place by tape The cage after 4 hours of cutting, measuring welding and notching Weld detail of the left support beam Another angle ... so much more to do! well have fun!
