  1. My brother-in-laws wife had their first baby about 6 months ago and they are already talking mini van! When I saw this car last summer the body and paint was perfect. It's like a new car in many respects, I wish I had the money. p.s. He's selling it for less than half of what he put into it! Mark
  2. Well after much painful consideration my brother-in-law has decided to sell his 85 Buick Regal T-Type This car is so clean you could eat off of it and in mint condition! His hope is that someone who can appreciate this car will buy it. Check it out! http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail.jsp?tracktype=usedcc&searchType=22&paId=166337360&pageNumber=0&numResultsPerPage=50&largeNumResultsPerPage=0&sortorder=descending&sortfield=PRICE+descending&certifiedOnly=false&recnum=0&leadExists=true&criteria=K-%7CE-ANY%7CM-_7_%7CA-7000%7CH-%7CD-_59_%7CN-N%7CR-10000%7CI-1%7CP-PRICE+descending%7CQ-descending%7CY-_1985_%7CZ-92320&aff=national Mark
  3. For the street and limited racing I like the twin screw superchargers manufactured by companies like Kenne Bell at http://www.kennebell.net and Whipple Industries at http://www.whipplesuperchargers.com. Both companies sell turn-key kits, both foreign and domestic. I really like the Kenne Bell BlowZilla kit for the 5.0, you gotta love 675hp on a stock motor! Mark
  4. Go to http://www.antivirus.com this is Trend Micro's site, then go to personal page, then click on the Trend Micro HouseCall link. This will scan your system and eliminate any and all virus' on your system. I use their PC-cillin Internet Security 2005 and love it! Way better than Norton or MaCaffy, automatically downloads the latest virus patterns and updates. It includes anti-spy, anti-spam, anti-Trojan and firewall in one package! I also use a program called Spy-Subtract Pro, it scans for spyware, adware and also comes with CW Shredder which it owns. Mark
  5. If you want to stick with a T5 get a GForce T5 they're good to 600hp/500ft either directly from GForce or thru one of their vendors. http://www.gforcetransmissions.com or http://www.5speeds.com If you have a T5 already you can get the gear assembly kit and install yourself. Note: GForce now makes an T56 upgraded to 900hp/800ft! Mark
  6. The term "Dark Side" is what the blue oval boys like to call themselves in contrast to the "Wussy Side" or chevy girls. Remember, "you don't know the Power of the Dark Side" ... Darth Vader Mark
  7. Be patient, it's only been 2 weeks... Mark
  8. Jersey, check out http://www.5speeds.com they are a G-force vendor and according to Mikelly, they a good company to deal with. Mark
  9. Yes Tim, the Opel is nice, but I'm looking for a 67 thru 72 Chevy/GMC long bed pickup for my business. Anyone know where I can get one that's in great shape? Oh I hate you also!!! Mark
  10. Pick up an issue of Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords and check the vendors who advertise. I personally like the Kenne Bell twin screw supercharger kit, it's complete and bolt-on. http://www.kennebell.net/ Mark
  11. I read the Kim Blough posts on z31.com and all I can say is that guy is a piece of work. Can you believe his arguments about a 4.3 chevy being a great choice for a hybridZ conversion "IF" you "ADD" additional weight to the front axle! Well I did ALOT of RESEARCH five years ago into saving weight and making big power with a V6 and guess what I learned? Unless you score a great deal on a GN3.8 or some other note worthy V6, dollar for dollar and pound for pound, nothing, let me repeat, NOTHING beats a SBC and yes now the SBF, if you want the most for the least amount spent, period! Mark
  12. I've wanted a Manta Mirage, patterned after the legendary McLaren M8 from the old Can Am series, since I was in high school. Checkout the link http://www.mantacar.com Then go to the classified section to see some that are for sale. Mark
  13. I didn't bet anything on this years super bowl, but I was happy to see a friend of mine win 400 bucks in a work place betting pool. Mark
  14. I'm interested in getting Ross' billet 4340 stub axles. So who's interested in a group buy? Mark
  15. ARGH *%^$@! I'm blind!!!! Please post a WARNING for this post!!! Mark
  16. Yes this would include ME! Just scroll down to the 427 cid-625hp pump gas, fully streetable monster! http://www.bennettracing.com/crate.html Almost the perfect motor for me, though I'd use these Jegs/Kaase heads instead. http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=156886&prmenbr=361 I think the SBC boys should be worried! Mark
  17. It's up to $200 bucks with 17 hrs. to go! Mark
  18. Hey thats only 15 minutes from me! I'd be interested, but my wife would divorce me if I brought home another Z! Mark
  19. Thanks for the info Mike! I think the site Mike is refering to is http://www.5speeds.com Mark
  20. Hey Mike, isn't G-Force making a upgraded T56 now? http://www.gforcetransmissions.com/tran_gt-56.asp I don't know if it would be up to the rigors of roadracing, but add them to the list of companies making a aftermarket T56. Mark
  21. I former member here use to run a carbed 4.3 and a ProCharger supercharger and it was nasty! His name is John Scott and he may still freqent this site. Do a search on John Scott and you may find a detailed description of his former Z. Mark
  22. Modifying SBC hedders would be more trouble than it would be worth. 'Shorty' style Ford hedders will work, if you mount the motor correctly. I've personally seen several Z's running these. Mark
