Hello All, I meet this guy this week that owns a 76 CHALLENGER. I was telling him that i own a few zcars, he though i was talking about the Z28! When i mention that what i have are JAPANESE MUSCLE. He knew right away . OH! THE ole` "CORVETTE KILLER" 240Z, was his remark. He asked if i`ve ever thought about a V8 swap on the Z. Sorry i`m a purest! But when he uncovered 2 DODGE V8 and said that they were for sell and it would fit the Z car, i changed my mind and my thoughts right away went to HYBRIDZ.ORG! I know there is quite a lot of information here in swapping V8. The question is which motor should i buy ? The 360 v8 or the 383 v8? Need to know quick!

Is that your TR shop? One of my first cars was a TR7, still have it. It`s a slow restoration project i hope to finish one day. Sure wish i had all that space for my cars!

Question, how would i remove that fender??? It seems they bondo the spoilers to the body. Thats a NO! NO!

Try using a magnet, if it dosen`t stay on you have a aluminum 240z rack. 280Z are metal! I ordered prothane rack n pinon bushing and had to stretch one and the other i have to make some type of a gasket so i don`t have any movement of the bushing.The bushing would than have a tighter fitment and no play .

Here`s a tip to making those rack-n-pinion ply-bushing fit.Place in boiling water for a few minutes. Stretching the bushing for fitment. Work quickly before it get cold.

Guys it`s a 72! Darn! If i only were living in the states, that sure would have made for a good project!

You know you own a DATSUN when you park just about anywhere and when you return there`s a crowd inspecting your ride from top to bottom. Literally from top to bottom! I once found this guy laying on the ground checking out the bottom of my Z. I ask him if he ever own a z and was just checking for rusty floors. He tells me no, never owned a Z but was curious about the chrome plating on the oil pan and why such a big gas pump. The answer to his question, the plated oil pan was to notice oil leaks better and about the big pump for...for what else more BOOOOOST BABY!!!
