    Leon, Thanks! I also found two spark plug wire tips broken off, maybe that's why at times i had a hard time getting it started. Well i`ll start replacing the tips and then do the COMP. test again .

    Hello all . I did a compression test last night on my L28ET. The results where as follow : cyl 1- 6. 125,125,125, 130,130 130. I was reading on this forum that the norm from factory on all six was 140. Am i due an engine refresh/overhaul ?

    Mine are also aluminum and i need to reassemble them,i guess the metal ones are aftermarket.

    Aren`t we all. Those who know the rarity are not going to sell, i`m one of them! Keep searching the JY. I pick up a 1979 280ZX 2+2 slicktop 4sp 3:36 for $200.00 at a JY. Call it luck!

    Just a follow through on the puller. I want to emphasize the use of this tool was amazing!One pin came out with easy, but the other was hell! We soaked it in wd40, banged with a hammer, and finally torch the B!#@H for awhile. Then attached the puller and out it came. I can attest this thing works! THANKS!

    Maybe its from another car. I`ve seen a few 1st gen rx7 with whale tails. It also looks like the turbo2 whale tail.
