Yes I think you should see i if you have any leeks, if you westgate is good... If you have any play in the shaft of your turbo,...that isn't good. : beside that, it is something else, your turbo is probably not dismentling itself !!! I hope so !! Dayz

Well If I remember correctly, the mustang pattern is the same as the Z car. If you want to go 5 lug, check Alsil site. He explain the easy way to do the conversion !! Do some research, it as been discussed!! Dayz

Those second set you have are the first gen of carbs, before 72 1/2. Use those. they are the one I'm talking about. No emissino stuff less proble. If you have 2, put them on now...Have fun Dayz

But those carbs get rid of the anti-polution and are very easy to tune!! I did that and I am an happy guy and they look so clean. Dayz

Yes, I have both model. That one with the "N" or the "Z", is still like new. I guess I'm lucky because we don't see them very often I tried to make another key but I haven't been able to find a place where they would have a datsun key like mine !! I don't think they sell those key every day . Dayz

Hi Guys Yes I did some search but didn't quite find what I wanted. Today at the jy, I found a 1996 Q45 diff, well all the rear end. I don't know the ratio, but are there anyone using this setup, and is it good. Everything looks good and I'm thinking about getting it for my project. What do you think, tell me if you have any info/experience with the setup and how much would you pay/worth for it ( driveshaft, diff, axles, knuckles and ...) Thanks

Hi Jeff, I live kind of close to you in north of T.O. Just a suggestion, I think you should go with the LT1 route. Just more possibilities for the future. I know where you can have one for you pretty cheap, complete with auto trans and ecu ... That comes from a clssic caprice. Just send me a pm, and we will see about that. maybe I'll have a new buddy to work on cars with !!! Dayz

Guys I wish I was living in california, . I would say that if you can find a better deal, go with the better deal or just fix yourself a " 3 month on hold " because that car will stay there. That will give you time to find a better one, or if not, buy it in 3 months. This car doesn't look bad, compare to Canada cars. I'd go for it, If you have time and money. It is a lot more work than what you think, but it is up to you !!! Otherwise listen to the guru, they have good advise. Don't do the same error I did a while a go and repair a rust bucket that I bought for cheap. Good Luck Dayz

Hi guys !! Question for you , chevy guys I did a search and didn't find what I want. Today at the JY, I found two caprice that were hit in the rear.( reason why they were at the jy, I presume ) Those are 96 cars, so they have LT1 engine in them, and auto trans. ( from what I read ) I'm not ready to put an engine in my car, but is 100$ US, or 150$ can, a good deal with all the accessories, ecu, wiring alter... It is clean, no oil loss, and has a good and equal compression when I turn it by hand. Thanks guys for your imput !!
