  1. Its always possible, but you'd have to fab up your own custom headers, intercooling would be a pain, basically you'd be broke paying someone else to figure things out, or your going to spend some time making it that way yourself. Other than that, since your car is FI the engine would drop in pretty easily, and you wont have as much "fun" with the wiring as I am Now turbo only, is arguable, you can do it but your pistons aren't as strong as the turbo engines.
  2. There is a local guy who is 6'6" with one, now that must be odd!
  3. Side pass to heater, top one for TB (which I have bypassed) and then to rad. http://66.228.67.107/skarodom/heads/ai/2003-hr-rebuild/KmemRemoval6.jpg As for the Xover and overflow, I may even have mine reversed, they are both the same size hose, I appologize for being braindead 8) I'm thinking that overflow should be the bottom one, and Xover "drainage" should be the top.
  4. Connection for overflow is the very top (under the cap), the crossover tube connects just below that, so there are two small connectors on the stock radiator. Is that a Griffin for a Camaro? Or just one that fits in the Z better? The heater hose I believe is the bottom pass one. The upper one goes to a bleeder, which also has the TB coolant hose attached to it. I can check when I get home though, I touch that car so little I am forgetting things.
  5. No doubt, bandwidth exceeded $$$
  6. No prob, I'm sure several others can do the same? It would be interesting to see how these cars are, after 30 years. I dont have a brace yet unfortunately, but I figure a few numbers from various folks must be worth something.
  7. Sounds like a variation on an old scam, like "I need you to help me funel 2 million dollars out of my country, you will get 20%." People have lost thier lives over such scams, I probably wouldn't even respond.
  8. The issue with the NA setup is piston ringlands, not just compression.
  9. I can measure stud to stud on the shocktower later, I have a 73.
  10. Thanks "Moby" you are my hero 8) I basically just need to know what wires lead to which part of the relay, 87, 87a, 30 etc
  11. Thinner gauge steel in the floor boards would be some of it.
  12. This is true, the silicon stuff is $. So if you put it all on paper it may just be false economy, but I also think it depends how much power someone would be looking for down the line. If you think your going to blow the end tanks, then maybe you should just do it right the first time.
  13. My french is pretty poor, but the one word that comes to mind is ______, LoL ok I see the site filters these things.

  15. Maybe with eliminating the CPS (if you dont have it) you can do it, but I believe there is not enough clearance so you will have to grind. Since I dont own an OBD II car though I dont know for sure. The other 3 tubes all go to the radiator, what radiator are you going to use if not stock?
  16. More time spent at a higher lift is akin to more overall duration.
  17. In all fairness removing the alternator doesn't say street car, some guys pull the wiring on them at the drags though.
  18. There is only one coolant hose on my pump, coming out of the top. What vapor lines? If you mean for the heads, that goes to the radiator from the cross-over tube, right under the cap.
  19. Yeah, its ridiculous. Supposedly the guy carries no real weight though.
  20. Some think these are 17 second cars, I dunno. Mike said that the car I bought ran a 15.8 at Sac, so I think the 240s are maybe in the 16s bone stock, 280 I dunno but probably close with the right driver. I have a video of a 17 second Z car though, I think 78MPH or something. http://www.hybridz.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=18650&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=30 May 17th 5PM I guess.
  21. I still look at it as probably a nice interim cooler for the money, even if it costs some PSI it still allows more than no intercooler, and its cheap.
  22. I think I get it now, I think its because I posted a few 'articles' and things lately I wasn't getting it for awhile though... The ZL1 was a bad mother, although 375HP is sure not as astounding as 500+, considering the 396s also claimed 375HP configurations. Then again with 14x6" wheels on so many cars back then, and polyglass tires.... they weren't going anywhere very fast anyway LoL
  23. Better than a potato gun.
  24. Ahh, 95 timing cover is its OWN timing cover, unfortunately unlike the Opti which is the same 95+. The only "bad" thing about the 96 cover is that you can't run a double roller chain with it. Opti hoses, male goes to TB ducting and female goes to T coming off the intake manifold vacuum.
