  1. Shyte happens, priorities change. People get sucked into debt, and the only thing they own that's worth any money is usually the first thing to go ya know???
  2. HA!!! You're the first person that came to my mind as well!!
  3. WOW!! Sounds like you got the Ol' Gary Savage treatment (Savage42) for the same dollar amount too!! Anyway, sucks to hear when something like this happens, especially when it's from someone in one of my hometowns. You should try the court system. You have more than enough evidence to try to get some money back!! He's local, or local enough to take to court. Unfortunately my screw over was on the opposite coast. I wish you the best of luck!!
  4. The Laptop Doc... Or tha car for that matter, but I've got a stud to change first..
  5. Nobody want's to take it off of my hands.?? I've got bigger fish to fry now
  6. I completely agree with Mike, Don't get me wrong, it's my fault that my financial obligations are so close to my income and I only complain because I CAN make a lot more on the outside with my experience and education. They just have me by my huevo's and I can't get out right now. Enough about that, sorry to stray from the threads topic. It'll never happen again......
  7. Now ya see. If I ever did that .... I'd NEVER have the money to buy the car back anyway. The military life has me in 'paycheck to paycheck' mode indefinately
  8. Thank you Grumpy, you are my savior once again. Now, another question. Any way to remove one and re-press in a new one in with the head still on the car??
  9. Ok, I have a set of Vortec heads on my Z, and was just wondering if any of the knowledgeable Chevy guys could tell me what kind of studs my heads have. They're Vortec casting 062's, I need to know if they're screw on or press in type. TIA guys!!!
  10. Yeah, my 21st wasn't all it was cracked up to be. I was forced to be "dry." I was in Taszar, Hungary on my way to the Balkans
  11. My wife is great about it. She's crawled under the car with me on numerous occasions She's the one telling me I'll regret selling if I do. I dunno though, I think my minds made up for now.
  12. Ok, guys....somebody help me out with this computer business. I think I may even have bigger issues than aesthetics. Last night while driving the Z from my house in KC down to here at Fort Leonard Wood, I felt a mysterious "bump" if you will, and then it started running a little rough. The exhaust note just isn't the same and it FEELS like an ignition problem, but I'm not sure. I just hope the sale of the laptop can offset the damage (if any). Wish me luck in the diagnostic process. See, yet another reason why I'm contemplating selling......Grrrrrr!!!
  13. Yeah I caught. I've been in contact and wasn't able to work anything out. First I need the cash to pay back my bank account for a little money I spent last week. THEN, the rest goes to my hood solution... I'm trying here !!
  14. Don't worry about it. It didn't sound wrong to me. Just sounded like concern.
  15. Well, to guarantee it's functioning (prior to shipment) I CAN take a short video of me playing with it. Now, in the past I've been able to overinsure items that I've shipped out, that way if there's any damage during shipment, it's a gurantee to be fixed. I've done plenty of business here on HybridZ my membership here has always been upstanding. Hell, I gave Doc the idea for his avatar I've been around a little while, and I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. I too have been screwed by a member or two (to the tune of about 4,000 on one deal), it sucks, I know. I've also got nothing but good feedback on Ebay (same user name as here), so take it for what it's worth.
  16. Grrrrrrrr......!!! That's all I've got to say about that........ It's still "in the works"
