  1. I'd have to say a top end kit (cam, heads, intake). I've got pretty much everything else I've wanted for it. That is that last thing I think it'll take to get this motor running perfect, just can't afford it right now....
  2. Sweet!! Glad I jumped on that list!!! Address PM Sent!!!
  3. Yeah, I got with him just a little bit after I posted that. Should be good to go. Thanks!!
  4. Woot Woot, Moreno Valley in the house (grew up off of Perris blvd on Myers, yeah it's ghetto.) Anyway, how much does he charge for that kit and how complete is it?
  5. I'll take one, most definately!! How much we looking at apiece??
  6. So, are these clutches still available or was it a one time deal??
  7. You can never really go wrong with sending the VSS straight to the speedo. I can't really speak from experience when dealing with a PCM, but, for my T56 istall I ran it straight from the tranny to the speedo, and it worked GREAT!!
  8. I guarantee there's perfectly good Z's thriving in worse conditions. Just don't buy a rust bucket to begin with and you'll be fine!!
  9. Had the same thing happen to me when I came back from Germany, I feel for you ... I got NIL for what they took..... Good luck on your claim!!
  10. Active Army, Military Police, will hit 11 years on the 22nd...
  11. Not to be an a$$, but there is a place for request for things like this (Classified section). Please read the rules of the site and I guarantee you'll get more out of it.. MSA might have the parts your looking for though http://www.zcarparts.com/
  12. I hate you ........... No but seriously, I wish my luck was that good!!! Hopefully everything goes well with the swap.. I wish you luck
  13. Wow, almost kinda looks like mine.... Wish I would have went LS1!! Oh well, maybe next time
  14. Would be nice to find some of those deals though. They're out there somewhere....
  15. Very Nice Z, hope you get some kind of deal worked out!
  16. Mine runs, just is missing on the #2 cylinder at the moment. A broken rocker stud will do that to you I guess .....
  17. All of my significant others (past) only tolerated it. My wife drove it once or twice, but still isn't the biggest fan
  18. You are correct! The LT1 parts are interchangeable on the later model siingle piece rear main blocks. To include the 93-97 T56 and Bellhousings. Good luck on your swap!
  19. 93-97 T56 (LT1 style), has the correct bellhousing to mate to the later model 1 piece rear main. I used everything from the LT1 (Clutch, pressure plate, flywheel) and it bolted up to my 86 up block and works great. I used the Tilton 7/8" master cylinder with a stainless braided clutch line to the late model T5 Slave. EDIT: Nevermind, I see your talking about the earlier style block. Not the same deal, sorry about that.
  20. Yeah I thought about that, but there's not one in this town (that I've found) and the next closest town is like a hlaf hour away and still I couldn't find one online there. Maybe I'll go hit up the NAPA guys and hopefully they can steer me in the right direction...
  21. Screw in style? I got my broken press in rocker stud out (easily I might add!! - due to help received here!), and now I need to replace it, with a screw in style one. I Don't want to buy all of the studs because this is just an EXTREMELY temporary fix, so I just need one.... Anybody PLEASE help if ya can!!! TIA!!!
