  1. DON'T!!!! Well, not yet at least . I bought an LSD set up from another member here on the site and it included a set of MM converted 280Z stub axles. Problem is, I want to keep my wheels. SO........ if your in the market for converting YOUR standard 4-lug 280Z stub axles to the 5-lug style PM ME first PLEASE!!! Looking to do a straight trade. I already contacted Ross to see if he'd be willing to swap out and that was a no go, so I'm asking you guys for your help. TIA
  2. damn your quick. I don't know why I didn't find that ... I searched "blazer window" and came up with nothing.
  3. thanks brother, but I was lookin for the passenger side glass ...
  4. Hey guys, I need help. I just got off the freeway where my passenger side window on my 03 Blazer was bust out by some flying rocks off of the back of a semi. How it got my on the side, I have no clue. May have bounced off of the car next to me. Now, I went and got quotes, but they seemed rediculous. I replaced a window before for like 60 bucks, and out where I'm at now they want around 130. Being out in the sticks sucks sometimes. Does anybody know where I can order some glass from? I'm just looking to get the glass and I'll replace it myself, but I've been unable to locat where I can buy it from. I googled it and came up with nothing. TIA!!!
  5. Ok, I've got most of my body parts sitting in the garage. I'm trying to get a GREAT image (images) of how it will come all together when I'm done. PLEASE help a brother out. Should make for some interesting pics (if they're done right) too
  6. I think he was talking to you Aux. Looks like he read the title but not the thread or link, OR completey does not understand you!
  7. wow, all this time I thought Mikey was like 50
  8. Looking for any Kansas city guys to help me with scouting out a pick and pull or two or three up in the KC area. I'm trying to move up that direction soon and was looking for some parts sources, or fellow HybridZ'ers. That's if I don't sell by then. (hits me every year about this time )
  9. Well ............. it WAS my hood..now that's not so unique. And besides, I still don't have the repro back yet.... So, I would have to go with my wheels .. I still have only seen them one other time, so I guess they're pretty unique.
  10. WOW, what a mess..... Although two summers ago that's pretty much what mine looked like too!! I don't envy you at all at this point.
  11. It's hot, I don't care what you say
  12. Ok, thinking of something different here. It looks like I need more room than originally planned on the slave side of things, so I was thinking of this. Would it be possible to mount the slave upside down? I know it's not a good idea for bleeding purposes but, what If I bleed it, and the flip it over? That way seems like I'll save myself some tunnel clearance. Opinions?????
  13. 135 with (what seemed to be) a lot more left over. I just touched it and shut down I'm not crazy, but it seemed stable on the fwy ummmm I'm mean straightaway on the track. SBC350/700R4/3.54 R200/Autometer speedo
  14. UPDATE #569238620275 OK, so I stuck the tranny alone. Wasn't as hard as I thought it would be or maybe I just got lucky. And, ummmm yeah, I WILL need to clearance the tunnel just a tad bit more to make room for the slave fitting and hose. Maybe about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch. We'll see tomorrow.
  15. well damn, where the hell were you a week ago -- lol Yeah, I got it.
  16. Yeah buddy!!!! Out with the old ....... In with the new!!!! Hopefullly I'll have this tranny stuck this week! Gotta Love this cramped worskpace!! I don't think I'll have to clearance any more than I already have either! All the extra 700R4 stuff --- Going to ebay as a package deal, hopefully I'll get half of what I paid for it.
  17. UPDATE : OK, got the car up on four jackstands (Just like Mikes Hulk ) and the CrapBox is out. Fun stuff. What a PITA it was to unbolt the flexplate. The ARP bolt heads were really close to the crank and it was rough getting a socket on them, let alone breaking them loose. Needless to say, I got a lot accomplished the last couple days. Got, EVERYTHING to do with the R4 out of the car, Pilot bearing and flywheel installed, as well as retro-fitted my slave with the McLeod fitting, did a great job too if I do say so myself (now I just have to remember how to put it back together I'm just waiting on a couple more parts to complete the clutch setup (slave spacer and clutch line) Then I should have a GREAT time trying to stick this tranny on my own Who wants to make a wager?????? A) I stick the tranny on my own or I get fed up and quit until I get help Either way, If I give up and wait till I find someone to help me, I'll just concentrate on getting this LSD installed. At least I KNOW I can do that on my own....!
  18. I had the same idea as well. However, I was only going to install the small LED's and without a pod. It would have just looked like 3 little lights coming up out of the spot where your pod is. That being said....... I'm glad you did yours first Now mine will look better than originally planned!
  19. They bolt up just fine, quit jacking my thread. The answers to you questions can be found through the search function. see..... http://forums.hybridz.org/search.php?searchid=436932

  21. OK, this should be the last little tidbit of needed info until the tranny's actually in the car. I've got : the willwood 7/8 M/C T5 Slave W/recommended Mcleod fitting Now, I'm planning to order a -4 or -3 AN hydraulic line, 90 degree bend on the M/C side and straight into the Mcleod fitting on the slave. Which should I go with, the -3 or -4 AN line? Will the size change the line pressure significantly/noticeably? Opinions please.. TIA
  22. Why yes, yes it is...... I've been collecting this stuff for the better part of 3 years. I finally got a little free time from work, so now it's time to play
  23. To keep me busy for a while?????
