  1. Best I found is below: http://www.performancewheeloutlet.com/detail.asp?pt=280+Series+Cobra+R Cobra R wheels 17x10.5 , 17x9 I know someone else (somewhere) had these on his Z with the 5 lug conversion with 275/40's on the rear and 240/45's on front I believe.
  2. Now all we need to do is wait for McCain to win by a landslide in 2008. Anybody who votes for Hitlery Clinton is out of their mind and should be deported to France where they belong I am still upset that my 2 votes for John Coffey and Mike Kelly for US Senate did not show up on Fox News's election coverage
  3. Well.. Now after I overlooked the cookies, it more than likely keeps the last visit in the mysql database on the server. You can look at the cookies on your end to see if you can modify anything, but it probably only keeps autologin data there. The cookies are username@hybridz and username@nuke ... You may have seen the announcement from the Admin. Myself and the Admin will be working on updating the portal and forum software to the latest versions, as well as PHP, mysql, etc.. This should solve a lot of problems, and maybe even this problem.
  4. I've seen a couple guys get 700+ RWHP out of an L28 with mostly stock internals.. That huge of a turbo with massive injectors and good fuel management can get a L28 up in the 600hp range with high boost.. add 100 shot of NOS and 700hp is doable.. Probably wouldn't last long if you kept it that high all the time, but YES it has been done by at least two people I know of before
  5. I will brush up on my PHP skills and check with the Admin on adding support for View New Posts since (insert date/time).. Let me know if that will be useful to you, since it has happened to me before also.
  6. Wow Brad-ManQ45.. you should be a columnist for a newspaper somewhere I am voting for Bush simply because he is REAL.. No lies, no faking. Sure he has made some mistakes.. everyone has.. but he admits to those mistakes and tries his best to fix them. If Bush COULD release the classified information we have about the enemies of the United States, Bush would have a 95% approval rating and nobody would even challenge him (except for maybe Teddy <hickup> Kennedy). And I'm 20 btw.
  7. Sup DCarrow.. I will explain how the "View New Posts" system works.. It saves the time and date you last visited the forum in a "cookie" on your computer. Everytime you login (automatically or manual) , it updates that "cookie" with the current time and date. So if you do happen to close ALL of the HybridZ pages in your browser and decide to come back again in a few minutes, it will show all the posts as being not "new". Hope that answers the question without confusing you
  8. As far as I know pallnet is no longer making the rail due to some technical problems people were having with it. I inquired about it about a month or two ago and he had no plans to begin making a O-Ring style rail again (nor did JSK or Thagard)
  9. might wanna talk to John C. @ beta motorsports .. I got one from him that he had made by sunbelt.. Maybe he still has the specs or try to get ahold of sunbelt (i think it is)...
  10. Sure.. try looking here: http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?target=eproduct.asp&N=120+400027+309148 Meziere Enterprises also makes some other neat AN fittings as well that are listed at summit. RPMnet also lists a -20 AN Weld-On here: http://www.secureperformanceorder.com/onlinestore/getproduct.cfm?CategoryID=6&ClassID=66&SubclassID=1235&ProductID=6429 Hope this helps
  11. Well it won't let me vote in the poll for some reason, but I think Bush won due to the fact that his answers made sense and that he spoke with feeling and not just the dull "I have a plan" crap that we keep hearing from Kerry.. If you have a plan Mr. Kerry, then tell us what it is instead of trying to get people to visit your website
  12. Only thing I could find that is even close is @ http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/ProductDisplay/s-10101/p-394/c-10101 It looks more of insulation than an actual "shield" , but might work..
  13. I would keep it in the engine compartment if you have a turbo. There is no point in getting cold air from in front of the intercooler (and blocking air going thru the intercooler) by having it in front of it. I am in the process of making a seriously turbo'ed Z and I am going to either put the K&N filter directly off the throttle body or piping it somewhere in the fender so it might still be able to get a little bit of colder air. Others thoughts are welcome though. Aaron
  14. I will be running the Aeromotive Regulator ( http://www.jdsperformance.com/index.asp?initemuid=402&fcmd=item&inmake=all ) with a high volume 700hp fuel pump and a custom O-Ring fuel rail and was wondering what type of fuel line to get. I like this: http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=2701&prmenbr=361 but was wondering if I should run the braided hose all the way back to the pump and what type of AN fittings are best for the regulator / rail / pump / etc.. (do they make quick disconnects or easy removable fittings?) Thanks guys
  15. Wow.. time for me to get flamed.. here is my opinion: Many people thought President Bush did not know what he was talking about or did not have enough material. The truth is, he knows exactly what he was talking about and even corrected Kerry in several situations concerning our current allies in the war and other things. I personally like the fact that Bush is not the most eloquent speaker. We don't need a "sounds-good" president for our country. We need somebody who has the experience and the willpower to keep America going strong. I like the fact that he is real and down to earth and doesn't try to sugar coat anything. He simply tells it how it is and as you could see in the debate, he was getting annoyed while Kerry was bashing him as anybody would. I do think Kerry was more prepared to attack our President's positions and he made it very clear that he wants us out of Iraq even though he said we should stay in Iraq until the job is done. I know several people in the Marine Corps that have told me that the Iraqi people would run into the streets and hug them and thank them for helping them. These people will be a valuable ally in the war on terror and our presence in the middle east. It might take the simplicity of a young child begging for just a piece of gum from a soldier in Iraq to make this point. Just my .02
  16. your best bet is to call u-pull-it salvage yards. Here in Arizona I can get an entire L28ET engine block, head, tranny, etc.. for $150 if I pull it myself. Good luck! If only they had made a L38ET
  17. Yes I have seen the one on arizona z car.. looks good but I will have to get ahold of him to see if he is making more.. thx for reminding me
  18. thats why I said at LEAST 400hp... I would love to get 500-550hp if possible with some engine mods and such, and that is why I need the 720cc injector.. Plus I can tune it down if its too big with the microtech Thx for the suggestions.. Keep em coming.. especially what internal engine mods I should do.
  19. I am in the process of building a 280zx L28 N/A into a turbo setup and I am in need of a fuel rail that will support the following injectors: http://www.racetronix.com/3145FM.html I also will be in need of a custom intake manifold with provisions for a turbo. Does anybody make these or know someone who does? Thanks, Aaron
  20. How would I go about testing a 280ZXT distributor OUT of the car (like with an alternate power source and a multimeter, etc..) .. I have looked over the wiring diagrams and am getting a headache so any help would be appreciated.. My main concern is how do I get the LED in the distributor to come on (is it a real LED or not visible to the human eye?) .. Thanks guys. hope you can save me more headaches. 21. OK.. Alex hooked me up with a pretty nifty microtech efi system (The LTX-8) and I need to know which coil packs (3, 2-tower coils) to get for the setup and if I can get them from a salvage yard or at a local parts store, which vehicles they are off of. I also need to grab a GM style air temp sensor and a GM style water temp sensor and I kinda figured one from a 92 Camaro would work since its just a sensor and should be the same thread size, but if you have a difference of opinion let me know.. But the major thing is finding out where I can get these coils at for a decent price and quick.. Thanks Aaron AIM: BuhBompus Y!: likethem2
