  1. Very interesting. I wish I had the time and patience to learn how to use CAD programs. I've learned a little on MasterCAM and my dad has another CAD program. Just never really got into it.
  2. I agree with Jeffer 100%. That is the greatest feeling. And to know that you built it with your own hands.
  3. I come from the same background for the most part. My dad has always had a 68 Firebird that was either being driven, worked on, or parted out. He wasn't really thrilled when I found my car. He wanted me to get something that didn't need any work. I absolutely love my car though. I wouldn't trade my car for anything unless I could sell that something to buy my car back and have more money to put into it. I learned right after getting my car to not even bother trying to keep track of how much work/money you put into it, because it will only be a deterrent. Just my .02.
  4. What year Maxima? I could deffinatley use a power upgrade.
  5. Ok. I'm convinced. When I get some spare money I'm gonna do this. It looks awesome.
  6. I have one from a T-5. I'm getting an aluminum one so I don't need it. $40 + shipping.
  7. I love when I learn something new.
  8. My dream car. Seeing one of these always makes my day. My second choice for a dream car. It may not be able to travel through time but its still awesome.
  9. Thats the same problem I'm having. I put the fitting on and put in the supplied oil and then went to charge it and it only took about half the bottle and when I took it off, it just started spraying everywhere. Not cool. Knowing how to make it work would be great.
  10. What kit did you use? I bought one about a month of ago and only 1 of the fittings worked and I couldn't get it to charge at all because the fitting was stuck open and kept evacuating itself. Highly annoying. I would really like AC this year.
  11. I have a couple of them. My DD sat for over 7 years and all I had to do was put a battery in it and fired right up. My donor Turbo car had just under 300,000 on it and it still ran strong. I recently started to tear the motor down and All of the cylinder bores are still smooth, no scaring, and you can still see the cross hatching. Turbo didn't have much shaft play for having so many miles.
  12. Thats the same one my dad and I just pulled off a 280z at the junk yard. Cost a whole $5.
  13. Thats what I plan on doing. I have 2 P90 intakes so if I decide to become more eco conscious then I can just swap them out.
  14. Its a .35 remington. I've been told it has a pretty good kick by my step dad.
  15. Very nice. Those things are a blast. You can feel the heat from 20 feet away. I have a rifle that I've had since I was 7 and I've never shot it. I went to buy some ammo and it was $30 for 20 rounds.
  16. Saw his cars last night. Quite the drive to get there. lol. Absolutely loved the way 78 looks. If anybody else is ever in the area you should stop by and take a look. The Turbo sounds mean when its running. The engine bay is even cleaner in person. I wish I lived closer so I could help get the car running right. It was good to meet another Z enthusiast. I can't seem to find any around here. Thanks for all the parts for my dads car and the spoiler.
  17. What about meeting at the Krispie Kreme by the Tacoma Mall? Its got a big parking lot and thats where a lot of other car groups meet up for these kinds of things. A lot of people hang out there on Friday and Saturday night after 9 to show off their cars and to meet new people, so most car people know where its at. You should check it out some time to. Spread the word. lol.

  18. we have not organized anything yet, but in the past we met up at the McDonalds/Park n Ride in tacoma right by 512 and I-5.

  19. Very nice. She cleaned up nicely. I don't suppose you would want to part with that spoiler anytime soon.
  20. Its amazing how much you miss boost once you don't have it isn't it? lol. I pulled the motor from my turbo and now the NA just doesn't feel the same. Love that fuel rail. Maybe I'll try my hand at making one. Can't wait to see those pics.
  21. I didn't even notice that. First S130 I've seen with a shaved rear.
  22. The Arizona radiator says that it will work on the 280zx and I was wondering if anybody knew if that was true. If so then I will be getting one in the near future.
  23. Bleach. I need to come up to Seattle some time to see that car. Very nice. I just cut my springs a couple weeks ago but I didn't cut them quite as much. 1 1/4 coils front and 2 coils rear.
  24. That is a work of art. I may have to try this when I get a new radiator for my S130 Turbo project. Gonna have to protect my investment after all.
  25. Mine never really moves unless I accelerate. When I let off the gas it will fall below 45 for a few seconds and then go right back up.
