  1. Just requested to join the group. Worked perfect.
  2. Thanks guys. Ulises, i'll keep an ear out for rear noise, thanks. Bumping back and forth to work, he/she's averaging about 14mpg. On longer highway runs it gets around 18. Not too bad. That's without keeping the foot in it. Alex, i think it may be a she... too many creature features. '05 5.7 hemi heated leather power everything sunroof 392 LS - towing package navigation/satellite-sirrus 20" wheels blahblahblah I've always thought of a truck to be a rugged, no power, roughing it type of vehicle but this thing has too many features, it just may be a she. lol. I bought it off of a guy in long island for 17k. i think it was near 35k new. Had to sell it because his wife was leaving him, taking everything, including the suburban, and he has 3 kids which he takes long trips with and needed to get more of an SUV. Seemed like a pretty good deal when i did all the comparisons. Anyway, thanks again guys.
  3. Not quite like Mike Kelly's but heh, someone's got to drive around the junk! LOL. I never really liked Dodge, i've basically always been a chevy guy so i guess we'll see how she lasts. I can say that the Hemi does have a good bit of power, especially with the 3.92 LS out back. It should tow the Z just fine Any criticism welcome... good or bad.

Thanks. I enjoyed that. Anyone have any info on those wheels? Exactly what i'm looking for. I see he's got 5 lug rotors on there also. Hmmm. Wish i understood Japanese, sounds like they explained a little about the car.
  5. These are a few of my past trucks. I wish i had some pics of my '77 CJ7 - 304. That jeep i really miss. Also had an '88 Pathy on 35's and a Samari on 33's. Damn, now that i think back, my family was right... i was wacked out building these over the years... but it was fun I am now old and own a '94 Pathfinder on 31's for bangin' around during "incliment weather" and hope to do the 4.3 option at some time and get it dirty. The 3 liter in the pathy's are so underpowered for these "trucks"
  6. Nice. Can't wait to see/have them.
  7. I smell a BIG WIFF of FAVORITISM here!!! lol. Eric, if any of your orange Z's just so happen to be in line to be crushed, please... feel free to send them my way!! Again, they look great. Cant wait to add them to my collection. - Jersey
  8. Wow - that's flyin'! Wonder when his front wheels actually touched the ground after lift off. Frank - Do you really think he pulled a 6.7et in the 1/4 @ 120mph? I think that would that be a bit tough to pull off! lol. If you watch the board at the end, it flashes 338 which is kmh and then flips to 210, which is mph. EDIT: Sorry Frank, not picking on you. Just noticed Mike and Bobby's post after i submitted mine.
  9. I just took a look at this Jeep and was wondering if anyone could look it up for me on Carfax. Thanks in advance. 1J4FJ68SXSL560300 - Jersey
  10. Nice run mike. Cant wait to see some 1/4 mile runs! I swear if i watch just a fewwwww more of these V8Z's run, the L6 is getting yanked this winter for some displacement!!! lol. BTW - GEMINITWIN111... what's up with your caps button on your keyboard? Everytime i've seen you post so far it's either been in all caps or the first letter of every word is in caps. Anyway, FIX IT! lol.
  11. Jersey - state i live in and the nickname that was given to my father when he was in the Korean war.

  13. That was my first thought too Phil. lol.
  14. Need just a bit more information Tyler like, what size are they, what offset, what's your 280 look like... etc. If you have a side shot of your Z, maybe some of the Photoshop pros i've seen on this site can give you an idea of what they'd look like.
  15. Is that the inside of the wheel? Just wondering if it had anything to do with "Dropped (3.5") on Neuspeed race springs and Tokico Illuminas"? How are the clearances?
  16. Hey Scotty! What's up buddy? Long time no hear. Glad to see you're back. Come visit back east... Joe and i will take you to NYC and find you a nice girl! She love you long time
  17. When i first bought my current Z about 5 years ago, i had the same exact problem... same situation and used just about all the same techniques you've tried without luck either. Then I anchored the strut housing to the ground, bolted a chain to the top of the strut and used my engine hoist to rip it out. Ya just can't beat hydraulics sometimes Good luck!
