  1. I'm basically doing the same as you Rufus so, if you come up with any plans, i'd appreciate it if you could share as well. About the same size except the upstairs would be a "play" area I'm also using autocad but an older version... i think '02? Thanks in advance.
  2. The ACT HD PP # is N-013 and from what i've seen, it's the same as exedy. Matter of fact, the last 2 kits i bought from ACT, Exedy was stamped on the PP. I spoke with a tech from ACT a while back and he explained that what they basically do is buy the PP's from Dalkin then modify them. More spring pressure=better torque capacity=stiffer pedal. Sorry didn't really answer your question but thought i'd share what i know. GL.
  3. Sorry to hear JT. I'll keep my eyes open up here in NJ.
  4. Mike, if i can help. let me know. I just threw out 17 "old" computers this past week at work! I still have some more recent parts laying around the office and in the server room so, i'll keep an eye on the post. Always good to have a beer in hand in case of an emergency. lol. Now if it were GG, i may let the arm burn and drink quicker. ha.
  5. Nice work Philip. That's a ton of work. Funny videos, especially when you refer back to the ebay ad stating "NO RUST" LOL. Ok, i just watched all the vids and i think i've got some flash from all the welding. Need to rest eyes Good luck, it looks like it's going to turn out great.
  6. Nice job. Hey PrO, what's the music that starts both videos off? Thanks.
  7. Nice eye l28et. It's amazing how he's flipped cars for the last 20 years and what his collection has become. I'm sure at least 2 of the cars pictured have one foot out the door just to make room for something else. He's ALWAYS in the market. He did work his @ss off a long time ago, buying, restoring, selling so, i give him all the credit. He now has one guy who does all the work that needs to be done to the "new" cars he buys. They're all ripped down to bare metal and redone 100%. With that, i think i'll go home and look at my rusty 240 on the ramps and get nice and depressed. lol. Z vs ZX ?

They're all part of the Z family but i like the S30 body style the best of all to date. MO.
  9. Don't choose... just force some air down the SBC's throat
  10. lol Pusher. He drives them every so often but mostly just trailers them to shows. I did get to drive the cobra and the shelby. He wants me to take the cobra to the 1/4 next year with some sticky tires just to see what it does. That should turn some heads! lol. I'd really like a chance behind the wheel of his 4 cam. Man that thing must run.
  11. He sure has some beautiful cars down in his basement. Finally got some pics. Enjoy...
  12. I'm not good at pricing Z's, especially overseas but i will tell you this, they're both 2+2's and tend not to be as valuble as the coupes... at least here in the states anyway. My suggestion is try getting on-site to look at a Z for any signs of rust, especially the front framerails. If you could start off with a clean chassis, you'll be ahead of the game. Good luck with your search and welcome to HybridZ.
  13. Hey Marcus, i think it looks great. I think a bunch of us get the feeling of, why am i constantly battling this thing... maybe i should just sell but, i think you've done a real nice job so far and once you get some of the bugs worked out and have a good day of driving her under your belt, those "bad" thoughts may just be forgotten pretty quicky. Believe me, in know first hand Nice looking Z.
  14. CONGRATS!!! Double Trouble.. lol. God Bless.
  15. Congrats 525. Now i wonder what you could spend that "extra" $400 on... hmmm...
  16. That's right Sparks! Your Z after build month 4 is what i want. lol. So... Looking to part your Z out??? haha. J/K. Thanks.
  17. All i can think when i watch that is "wish i had the R200 LSD out of it to put into my '73!" lol.
  18. Thanks Rudy, John. I think i'll fight her until she comes off the road in a few weeks for the winter and do it then. I'm hoping to do a bunch of frame stengthening/welding/panel work so i'll be ripping her down enough to tackle this the right way, hopefully on a rotisserie. Appreciate the help and info.
  19. Thanks Richard for the response. It's hard to tell but the LCA's are just about dead level. I'm not a real fan of those "bump steer spacers" from what i've heard and read. They just seem like bandades IMO. Staring at the Z and this pic for a bit, i think i remember setting my toe slightly out a while back for better turn-in which may be adding to the issue as well. Thanks and funny comment... "some bump steer and the Z go together" That's why i i've delt with it for the last year or so! lol.
  20. Hey guys. I've been dealing with a bit of bumpsteer for a while and should really address the problem soon. I've read a bunch of posts about our front suspension (good reading from JohnC, TimZ and others HERE) and wondered if you think it's time for me to move the LCA PP's up a bit? I know it's real tough judging the relationship between the tie rods/rack/spindles/lower control arms from the pic angle and not being on-site but, i figured i'd just throw this one out there for some possible suggestions. Thanks.
