  1. Cool science but ZERO feedback and NO pictures makes me wonder if it's for real.
  2. Although I posted this link in another thread, I feel that this information is sticky material. Learn how to use turbo flow maps and how to match a turbo compressor to a particular engine. In this case the L28ET is used as an example. http://www.mygen.com/users/dbruce/myz31/TurboMaps/L28ET%20Engine%20Air%20Flow%20and%20Turbo%20Compressor%20Maps.htm
  3. Look what I found!! I wonder who put this together? Kudos to you. http://www.mygen.com/users/dbruce/myz31/TurboMaps/L28ET%20Engine%20Air%20Flow%20and%20Turbo%20Compressor%20Maps.htm
  4. What goes around comes around. He let those rednex put the bottle back in the Monte in race five against HybridZ. That's what he deserves Glad he's OK anyhow.
  5. Either the car is too small or the bowtie on the nose is too big.
  6. Your car AND you look almost EXACTLY like my friend and his Z in high school some 20 years ago. I wish I had a photo because it is strikingly similar.
  7. there was a thread on here about using molasses to dissolve rust. (yes I'm serious). They soaked a rusty longblock and it came out pretty clean. Search. It may be snake oil but worth a look possibly.
  8. Cool, something that I learned and now I can divulge my method for alignment. -Put the car on level ground -Put the steering column on center steering lock (key in the off position) -Remove steering wheel and put it back on perfectly straight. -Make sure the steering rack is centered in its travel range according to the manual measurements. -Loosen both lock nuts on the outer tie rods. -Press a broom-stick or straight edge to the front wheel and run it along-side the rocker panel checking for parallel. -Adjust each front wheel until the stick seems parallel to the rockers on both sides. -Roll the car back and forth about 2 feet by hand afer EACH tie-rod adjustment. -Measure toe with a tape measure between the front and back of the front wheels. (Usually need two people. Sometimes I use duct tape to tape the end of the ruler to the rim or tire if I am alone). -Adjust both wheels IN or OUT by the same amount to get the right toe. -LOCK THE LOCK NUTS. -Test drive. -If the steering wheel points left, turn both front tie rods to the left. -If it points right.......both tie rods adjust right. -LOCK THE LOCK NUTS. -Test Drive again for steering wheel straightness. -Repeat if necessary. -Re-Check Toe setting. (adjust both sides evenly to keep steering wheel straight) This method requires patience and care but it works and it's free. MAKE SURE YOU LOCK THE NUTS BEFORE YOU DRIVE!! One is left-hand thread and one is right-hand thread. It helps if you make the adjustments without lifting the car. Reach under the nose with a wrench to make the fine adjustments.
  9. RIP, Nazar. Unfortunately, sometimes, you don't get a second chance to do it right. Proceed with caution.
  10. Excellent Car! That's the kind of car that makes me question my taste for airdams.
  11. I love this shot: http://teamwtf.org/gallery/albums/album615/nats06_fp_064.jpg
  12. My friend and avid autocrosser Eric Carman sent me this linkage. http://teamwtf.org/index.php?set_albumName=album615&option=com_gallery&Itemid=87&include=view_album.php
  13. I is VERY computer saavy. Not worry, but thanks for the concerns. Half of the A/V strategy comes from using my noggin.
  14. OK I couldn't resist. I emailed the following: PS. Can we meet to discuss the excellence of the car? Please let me know when i can pick up a car. 15. BTW, the scammers replies came through ercksnla@aol-dot-com Please don't spam this email address as it may be hi-jacked from an innocent bystander.
  16. I doubt this moron is even in the States. Law enforcement won't even waste their time with stuff like this. Which exposes to me a large hole in current law enforcement! They go after speeders, cats in trees, or John Gotti, and Terrorists, but nobody in between. We need a resolution of enforcement that covers mid to low level, and pseudo-crimes. Mike Kelly, need more business?
  17. Austin, I asked the seller a question yesterday. I asked him to take the ad off of ebay and I would immediately paypal him $20,364.37. Well, ebay emailed me last night and the seller answered my question today! Regards, eBay Trust & Safety THE SELLER SENT: Hi, thank you for your time and interest in my car.The car is flawless,no scratches or dings whatsoever. It wasn't involved in an accident or something like that. The title is in my possesion and it is a clean title,no liens and it is not a salvaged title. The selling price is $4500 with shipping included in the continental US. Now,i have only one problem, and it is major.I am now in Las Cruces,TX,so i can not be there to deliver the car(in case that you want it shipped) or if you want to inspect and test drive it.But i am willing to ship it prior receiving payment. So i will ship it to you and after you receive it and if you desire to keep it you will pay the shipping firm.
