Thanks for the compliments guys! The color is Jet Stream Blue from the newer corvettes. As far as the headlights go, I made them myself. All I did was retrofit a pair of tiburon projectors into a cheap ebay housing. I believe I have a right up here somewhere about them.

Location?

You know you own a Datsun when you carry around a full set of sockets, box and open end wrenches, a spare fuel pump and an emergency wiring kit in your hatch just in case you brake down on the side of the road.

I also had similar problems. Where is your ignition coil located compared to your TPS? Also Matt had me run a 12v wire straight from my battery to a specific spot on the board(i will have to check some emails to figure out which one it is to). That solved my problem.

Did you run a compression test to see if everything is correct after putting the motor back together? Are you sure there isnt a boost leak somewhere? Did you check fuel pressure? Go over the basics and make sure the small things are working correctly.

Update: 27 Nov 2011 Engine: 1981 Turbo motor freshly rebuilt. Isky Turbo cam. Stock bottom end with some port blending in the head. Backed by my stock N/A 83ZX tranny Turbo: SlowBoy Racing GT30 T3/T4 .70a/r compressor .63a/r turbine Stage 3 wheel. (This thing whistles like a referee!) Exhaust: 3" Mandrel bent downpipe......(no more to it than that) Electronics: MegaSquirt II PCB 3.57 running fuel and spark. Stock 82 turbo dizzy. Innovate LC-1 wideband. Fuel: 440cc AZC o-ring injectors. MSD fuel pump. Pallnet fuel rail. Boost: 18psig Bolt ons: Front mount intercooler with 2.5" mandrel bent piping. Spec lightweight flywheel. ClutchMasters 240mm stage 3 clutch kit. Aftermarket oil cooler. Some others I'm sure I forgot. Power: 380whp and 450wtq with clutch slipping on dyno.

I had a similar problem with mine. Ended up being a bad wiring connection at the spot where you wire the MS harness into the stock turbo distributor harness. Not sure if you used that, but if so, double check all your wires.

First off, I want to thank HBZ for my initial good start in my Naval career. I joined the NAVY 3 months ago as a Nuclear Engineer and was picked as a machinest mate(aka nuke mechanic). The mass of technical information that I have learned from this website within the past 3 years has more than benefited me in my class and studies. So far, pretty much everything I have been taught in A school has been talked about on HybridZ. So how has HBZ helped you in life, other than Z car related items?

I'm not posting in the MegaSquirt section because it does not matter what stand alone system I am using to get a proper tune. And funny you should ask about the wideband. Yes, I have one. And above 5800 rpms has been extremely rich....as in 9.2:1 rich. I have been tuning this out and she is pulling really nice up to 7000rpms now. Thanks

I did ask them if they could make a custom set for me.......and they said no. Then I said, "So there is no way you could get me a 17" wheel?". Then they proceeded to say, "......No."

I have talked to Diamond Racing and they do not offer a 17" rim size. They say this is because they do not have a large enough racing market for them.

I love my S130. I just need a set of wheels to complete it....(415wtq is no fun on 215's)
