I was actually watching a whole collection of these videos last night on the Smoking Gun. People go insane about this stuff.

I'm at $1.68 for regular. Has anyone noticed a decrease in gas milage since the drop in gas prices. I used to get about 100 miles on 5 gallons and now it seems at about 80 miles.

If you could make a mold of the pressboard and make a fg or cf shell and fill it with PVC foam........ but you might not have all the time in the world to do that. Or make one out of styrafoam and wrap it in fg or cf. Then make a whole at one end (preferably out of site) and pour gasoline in the whole to eat the styrofoam out. Then fill it with a stronger foam like the PVC. Just a few ideas.

I just got back home from the exhaust shop and they did a decent job. The 2 1/2 inch pipe hey connected to the collector was kinda rough looking. It took them 2 hours to do the job and I just have a cherry bomb at the end. Its a lot more quiet than I thought it was gonna be. I will post up some pics when I can find my camera. And it only cost me $85.

There should be an idle mixture screw on the side of the AFM. Just make shure you dont go too lean. A wide band o2 sensor is really helpfull in doing this.

I put the header on with the 2 inch collector and it is loud! As I was working I noticed the #3 exhaust port was stark white. I new I had a bad idle so im thinking the plug is not firing. I could feel and smell gas from the intake port so I know the injector is firing.

Thats why I moved back to South Carolina.

You have no wright to make fun of pink and lace cars, you never know who has one:icon31:. Edit: Paint looks amazing. I have a house in Columbus, MS. Your not too far from there, I think (I think its about 2-3 hours). If i'm in the area I'll stop by and take a look.

MSA sent me the wronge collector so it will probubly be another week before it goes on. At least it will give me time to get it coated.

I have the same exact problem and its been leaking for the past year. It leaks all the time. Drip by drip. I think im gonna just block it off because it doesnt put out any heat as it is. I can always put on a jacket if it getts too cold.

I'll try to keep it down. I will probubly need to put an exhaust clamp on the collector just to be safe. I'll let every one know how it goes on monday and try to get a video clip up of the new setup.

Did you use the exhaust/intake gasket that came with the header? Did you have problems after or before installing the header?

Just to let you know, were not all disabled rednecks down here in South Carolina.

A few of us tried to get Rdelat to do a group buy for the back bumper and roll pan, but I guess we did not get the 15 people he needed.

So the time has come for me to install the header and get my exhaust show on the road. I am taking the header to a powder coating shop to get it ceramicoated. My only delema is that after I install the header I have to get the car to the only exhaust shop that is willing to do the exhaust with no cat. The place is 10 miles from my house and I think I might have to drive with an open header for about 15 minutes. It kinda sounds risky to me unless there is another solution. I know a guy that has a trailer but I have no truck to tow it with.

I was only expressing what I don't have the time and money for. He is doing a great job and it goes way beyond what a lot of people plan to do. His car looks great.

That clears some things up because I would always here mine pop at just about 1500 RPM.
